Over the past few months, Sunghoon and Sunoo's friendship had blossomed. They spent countless hours exploring the city, sharing stories, and laughing together.

When the school day had ended, Sunoo turned to Sunghoon with a grin. "Hey, want to come over to my place and meet my parents and sister?"

Sunghoon's eyes lit up. "I'd love to!"

Sunoo and Sunghoon headed for Sunoo's house to meet his parents and his sister.
" So, Sunoo. Tell me more about your sister? If that's alright with you." Sunghoon said in a curious manner.

"Of course, it's alright with me," Sunoo said laughingly. " Her name is Yn, Kim Yn, and she's 2 years older than us. I'm sure you guys will get along just well."

"If she's like you, then we would get along well. I can't wait to meet your family, " Sunghoon said nervously.

Sunoo laughed at Sunghoon's nervousness to meet the Kim family.

As they arrived at Sunoo's house, Sunoo called out, "Yn, come meet my friend Sunghoon!"

A soft voice replied from upstairs, " Coming!"

Sunghoon's eyes widened as a familiar figure descended the stairs. Yn, Sunoo's older sister, looked just as surprised to see him. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, time stood still. Sunghoon's mind raced back to their first summer encounter, and he felt his face heat up. Yn's cheeks flushed too, and she quickly looked away.

Sunoo, oblivious to the tension, introduced them with a smile. "Yn, this is Sunghoon. Sunghoon, this is my sister Yn."

They bowed to each other, their faces still flushed with surprise.

Sunoo then called out to his parents, "Mom! Dad! Come meet my friend Sunghoon!"

Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim walked into the room, warm smiles on their faces. Sunghoon bowed respectfully, and they exchanged greetings.

As they all sat down in the living room, Yn couldn't help but steal glances at Sunghoon. She hadn't expected to see him again, especially not in her own home and as her brother's best friend. Sunghoon, too, found himself looking at Yn, their summer encounter replaying in his mind.

Little did they know, this chance meeting would be the start of something special.

As time went by, Sunghoon and Sunoo had fun in the living room with juices and snacks. Meanwhile, Yn excused herself, citing homework as an excuse. Sunoo didn't notice anything amiss, but Sunghoon sensed Yn's discomfort.

As the afternoon sun began to set, Sunoo suggested a walk in a nearby park. Sunghoon agreed, and Yn reluctantly joined them.

In the park, Sunoo chattered excitedly about his favorite books and hobbies. Sunghoon listened intently while Yn walked beside them, lost in thought.

As the stars began to twinkle, Sunoo, Sunghoon, and Yn headed back to their house. Yn quickly retreated back to her room, leaving Sunoo and Sunghoon alone in the living room.

Sunghoon thanked Sunoo for the wonderful day and for inviting him to meet his family, and Sunoo grinned, happy to have shared his life with his friend.

Before leaving, Yn came down the stairs. Sunghoon turned to Yn and said, " Thanks for..today."

Yn looked up, her eyes locking onto his for a brief moment. "No problem," she replied softly, " Goodbye, Sunghoon."

Sunghoon smiled slightly, sensing a hint of warmth beneath her reserved tone. " Goodbye, Yn."

Yn's gazed lingered on his face before she turned and disappeared back to her room.

As Sunghoon left the Kim's residence, he couldn't help but wonder about Yn's strange behavior. He felt a pang of concern, hoping their past encounter hadn't caused her distress.

Sunoo, still unaware of the undercurrents, drifted off to sleep, feeling grateful for his friend and loving family.

The day ended up with a mix of warmth, awkwardness, and unspoken emotions, setting the stage for further developments in their relationships.

[ Yn POV ]

As I walked into the room, my eyes met his. Sunghoon. The boy from the summer. My heart skipped a beat. I felt a rush of emotions: surprise, shyness, and a hint of curiosity. Our eyes locked, and for a moment, time stood still. I remembered the way he smiled, the way his eyes crinkled at the corners.

But what shocked me even more was that he was standing next to Sunoo, laughing and chatting like they were old friends. Sunoo's best friend. I couldn't believe it. The boy I had met by chance over the summer was now my little brother's closest friend.

And he was two years younger than me. I felt a strange sense of disconnection, like my memories of him were from a different lifetime. I couldn't reconcile the Sunghoon I met with this Sunghoon, who was now a part of my family's life.

Then, Sunoo's voice broke the silence, and we bowed to each other, our faces flushed with surprise. I couldn't help but steal glances at him as we exchanged greetings. He looked a little taller, a little more confident. But his kind eyes remained the same. I felt a flutter in my chest, and I quickly looked away, trying to compose myself.

[ Sunghoon's POV ]

As I walked into Sunoo's house, I had no idea I'd run into her again. Yn, the girl from the summer. My heart skipped a beat as our eyes met, and I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. I couldn't believe it. What was she doing here?

And then it hit me - she was Sunoo's sister. My best friend's sister. I couldn't wrap my head around it. The girl I had met by chance, the one I had thought about all summer, was actually Sunoo's older sister.

I felt like I'd been living in a dream. All this time, I had no idea she was connected to my best friend. And she was older than me, too. Two years older, if I remembered correctly. I couldn't help but feel a little awestruck.

As we bowed to each other, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked. Her hair was longer, her eyes sparkled in the light, and her smile... her smile still lit up the room. But now, I saw her in a different light. As Sunoo's sister, as an older girl, and as someone who seemed almost... untouchable.

I felt a rush of emotions: shock, excitement, and a hint of nervousness. I had so many questions, but Sunoo's presence reminded me to keep my cool. For now, I just smiled and greeted her, trying to play it casually. But inside, my heart raced with excitement and a hint of intimidation. What was fate playing at, bringing us together again like this?
