Chapter 6 : A Family Affair

Two weeks have passed since Yn and Sunghoon's shared moments, and the excitement still lingers. Sunghoon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Park, have expressed their desire to meet the Kim family, and an arranged dinner at the Kim's residence seems like the perfect opportunity.

As the Park family arrives at the Kim's residence, they're greeted with warm smiles. The two families face each other, and they bow. Mr. Park and Mr. Kim bow deeply, followed by Mrs. Park and Mrs. Kim, and then Sunghoon and Sunoo. Yn, too, bows gracefully, her eyes meeting Sunghoon's for a brief moment.

"Annyeonghaseyo," they say in unison, exchanging formal greetings.

The Kim family welcomes the Park family with open arms, and they're led to the dining room. Yn helps her mother in the kitchen, while Sunghoon tries to focus on the conversations around him, but his attention keeps drifting back to Yn. He can't help but steal glances, and Sunoo notices, a knowing smile spreading across his face.

When Yn and Mrs. Kim joined the group, the room fills with laughter and chatter. Sunghoon and Yn continue to exchange secret glances, their chemistry palpable. Sunoo watches with a grin, happy to see his sister and best friend so happy.

As dinner progresses, Mr. Park and Mr. Kim bonds over shared interests, while Mrs. Park and Mrs. Kim discuss their favorite recipes. Sunghoon and Yn find themselves lost in conversation, discussing everything from books to music.

Sunoo, sensing the tension between them, playfully teases Sunghoon, trying to get a rise out of him. Yn's eyes sparkle with amusement, and Sunghoon's face flushes, but he can't help but smile.

As the evening draws to a close, the two families exchange warm goodbyes, promising to meet again soon. Sunghoon lingers, trying to find a moment alone with Yn, but it's not meant to be... yet.

As the Park family departs, Yn can't help but wonder if Sunghoon feels the same way. Sunghoon, driving home with his parents, can't shake the feeling that something special is blossoming between them.

Today was a blast! Our families finally met, and it was a total success. I loved seeing my parents and Sunghoon's parents getting along. And, of course, the tension between Yn and Sunghoon was palpable. I'm rooting for them!

I feel like there's something building between Sunghoon and me, a connection that I can't quite explain. Tonight, I saw a glimmer of something in his eyes, a spark that I hope will grow into something more. I want to know him better, to understand what makes him tick.

I feel like I'm getting closer to Yn, like we're connecting on a deeper level. Tonight, I saw a glimmer of something in her eyes, a spark that I hope I can fan into a flame. I want to know her better, to understand what makes her tick. And I have a feeling that she feels the same way about me.
