A few weeks later…

Suzy and Jin had grown closer, thanks in part to the project they were working on together, but also because their friends had a way of constantly bringing them into the same orbit. Their connection felt natural, almost as if the universe itself had been pushing them toward each other.

The crush that had initially sparked between them had deepened into something more over time. And now, both Jin and Suzy were fully aware of what they were feeling for each other.

It wasn’t just a fleeting attraction anymore—what had started as a normal interest had slowly, quietly, blossomed into something far stronger.

Suzy found herself thinking about Jin more often than she cared to admit. Every time he smiled or laughed, the warmth in his eyes seemed to melt away the walls she had carefully built around her heart.

It wasn’t just how effortlessly kind he was to everyone, or how he seemed to understand her in ways no one else did—it was the comfort and calm she felt whenever he was near. The more time they spent together, the more her feelings for him grew, almost without her realizing it.

But what Suzy didn’t know was that Jin was just as consumed by thoughts of her. It didn’t matter where he was—whether he was in class, at the office, or even in the middle of an important meeting—his mind would drift back to Suzy.

He’d catch himself daydreaming about their moments together, her smile, her laugh, and the way she seemed to bring light into his life.

Lately, it had gotten worse. Suzy had started to invade his thoughts even during the most serious situations—like his dangerous missions. His role, one that demanded full focus and attention, had always been something he handled with precision. But now, even on those missions, he would catch himself wondering what Suzy was doing, if she was okay, or thinking back to a recent conversation they had.

At first, his brothers were amused by how whipped Jin was. They’d tease him about how distracted he seemed, how he’d zone out during meals or when they were hanging out together.

But over time, their amusement shifted to concern. They noticed how Jin, once laser-focused and sharp, was becoming more and more unfocused, sometimes putting himself at unnecessary risk because his mind wasn’t in the moment.

One evening, while the brothers were gathered in the living room, Yoongi spoke up. “Hyung, we need to talk,” he said, his voice calm but firm.

Jin, who had been absently scrolling through his phone, looked up, confused. “About what?”

Taehyung leaned forward, concern etched on his face. “It’s about Suzy Noona. Or rather… how you’ve been acting because of her.”

Jin frowned, “What do you mean?” he asked keeping his phone on the coffee table.
