"It's been two months and they are still going on dates?" Nancy asked with wide eyes.
Bogum smacked her head, "Keep your voice down you idiot. And yes. But not that date. Just friendly hangout or that's what they like to call it," he said.
Nancy rubbed her head with a pout, lowering her voice. "Two months of 'friendly hangouts'... I don’t get it. How are they still not together? It’s so obvious!"
Bogum sighed, shaking his head in disbelief. "Exactly. They spend all this time together, practically act like a couple, but neither of them has made a move. It’s like they’re waiting for a miracle to happen."
Nancy leaned in, whispering, "I’m starting to lose patience with those fools. Maybe we need to drop some more obvious hints, like literally push them into each other."
Bogum smirked. "Or lock them in a room until they confess."
Nancy grinned at the thought. "Desperate times call for desperate measures, right?"
Bogum chuckled. "Let’s give them a little more time. But if they don’t get it together soon, we’re definitely stepping in."
Nancy nodded in agreement. "Deal. If they don’t figure it out soon, we’re going to have to play matchmaker, full force."
"You both are not doing anything like that," Jin's voice came.
They both turned back and saw him standing there. But there was something different. He wasn't in his usual calm mood today. He looked rather... Angry? Stressed? Or both.
Nancy and Bogum froze, exchanging guilty looks as Jin stood there, his arms crossed and an eyebrow raised. They can clearly tell their friend is frustrated over something... But what? No one knows.
"Jin, hey..." Nancy started, trying to sound casual, but her voice betrayed her nervousness. "We were just... talking hypothetically."
Jin narrowed his eyes. "Hypothetically? Really?" His tone was calm but there was a clear edge to it. "You two have been meddling, haven’t you?"
Bogum sighed, knowing there was no point in denying it now. "We were just trying to help, Jin. You and Suzy... you both like each other, but neither of you is making a move."
Jin clenched his jaw, his frustration clear. "I know what I'm doing. Or at least I thought I did." He ran a hand through his hair, clearly stressed. "But I don't need you two playing matchmaker behind my back. It's complicated and you both know it as well!!"
Nancy softened, stepping closer. "We get that it’s complicated, Jin. But you’ve been dancing around your feelings for months now. We just want you to be happy."
Jin sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping. "I know... I just... I don’t want to rush things with her. There’s a lot I haven’t told her yet. My life is not as simple as she thinks it is." He looked at his friends, his frustration giving way to exhaustion. "And I don’t want to drag her into it... Not until I know I am ready for her."
