3rd Pov~

"What?"
She paused, hearing Kaizo's words. Y/n still stood to his side, in shock. Y/n wasn't expecting that kind of reply out from Kaizo aswell.

Kaizo's head spun towards Y/n, his lips curling into a small but a soft smile. He gazed down at her, passion and love in his eyes bloomed as he held Y/n closer to his chest.
"Lets go, lets not waste anymore time."

The women and Y/n didn't even had any chance to reply when Kaizo quickly pulled Y/n with him away from the resting area.
Kaizo pulled Y/n to an empty table, his cold and stern expression forming once again.

"Are you alright?"
Kaizo glanced at Y/n, a hint of concern in his voice.

"Yeah, thanks for saving me back there.. i was afraid of speaking anything to offend her.."
Y/n's head lowered in embarrassment and shame, her fingers fiddling over one another.

"Its alright, that girl was bothering you. I knew i can't just stand and watch her disturb you."
He lifted his hand, placing it against Y/n's shoulder. His gaze turning soft again.

Y/n's eyes widen slightly at his soft words, she didn't knew he had it in him. Afterall, he was cold and mysterious most of the time. And this kind of situation or event happening was very rare in any occasion.
"Thanks.."
Y/n nods her head, returning a soft smile aswell.

"Now, lets not worry about it anymore. Tonight, it's our marriage that matters."

Kaizo placed the glass of juice down infront of Y/n, his smile remained to his lips.

As the night went on, Y/n couldn't help but feel a slight pain and sadness inside her chest. She doesn't know why. She knew Kaizo didn't mean it, she knew he had only said that because of the lady bothering her. It hurt her more than she had imagine, which she shouldn't be feeling. It was only meant to protect her. Besides, this was all just for an arrangement, nothing more.

Her expression changed. What was she feeling? Why was she feeling this way? She shouldn't feel this way, and she must not. Y/n was out of Kaizo's league, or so she thought?

Y/n steal a quick glance at Kaizo, noticing his cold and stern behavior re-appearing as he focuses on the party.
She couldn't help but feel so hopeless. She knew she had wished for a marruage, but this wasn't the kind of marriage she had in mind. Y/n wanted it to be a romantic part of her life, which she could remember and treasure.

She couldn't help but wonder what and how would it feel like being able to feel love for real, where its romantic, and dreamy. She shouldn't get her hopes up, her shoulders downed slightly. Y/n pushed the thoughts aside, she didn't want any distractions, so she focused on the party aswell.

She tried to push away those thoughts but they continued to plague her mind. She knew it was just an arrangement, that Kaizo didn't love her in the way she had hoped. But still, she couldn't help feeling a pang of sadness in her heart.

As she stood there quietly beside him, she silently chided herself for dwelling on these thoughts. She knew better than to let her imagination run away with her.

But as hard as she tried to keep her mind focused on the present, the memories of their first time together kept flooding back into her mind.

Suddenly, the whole place began to dim as the music turned to a soft music. People began to cheer and rushing towards the dance floor.
As the host announced that it was a slow dance. Y/n dreaded this moment, she wasn't feeling of dancing in the center of the crowds, being the center of attention.

Kaizo glanced around the room as the lights dimmed, he was confused aswell to why there was a sudden change of music.
He scanned the room for any clues as to what was going on, and his eyes eventually landed on Y/n. He saw the look of dread on her face as the music turned to a slow dance. He could see that she was uncomfortable.

He was also feeling a bit anxious himself, not sure if he wanted to dance in front of everyone either.

He looked back at Y/n, who was still standing quietly beside him, and a pang of sympathy went through him. He didn't want her to stand awkwardly and he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable standing there beside him as many people around them rushed towards the dance floor.

With a reassuring smile, he extended his hand towards her. "Dance with me?" he asked, his voice calm and soft.

Would she take it?
