Kaizo and i sat before the sunset, the sky turning to its beautiful golden hue.
The birds sang above us as the tress rustled due to the wind blowing through.
A small and yet a soft smile curled to my lips as i gaze upon the scenery before me, it was something i'm never going to forget— afterall, i dreamt of having to go out with someone in these kinds of places. My hands rested behind my back, as i leaned my weigh against my arms.
I felt very grateful that Kaizo even considered on wasting his time just for this. I turned my head towards Kaizo, feeling the warmth increasing within me. I felt the urge to thank him, and those urged werent stopped.
"Thanks again, Kaizo.. i never thought you'd notice."
My smile remained as it is.
Kaizo smiled at me, a gentle look in his eyes. Kaizo watched my face, admiring my features before he suddenly leaning closer without even thinking.
"I wanted to thank you, Y/n.. i know it has been difficult, and i think i'm making it much more worse due to my recent actions."
I tilt my head to the side in confusion.
"I have been... too attached recently, which i shouldn't have. I'm aware of the possible consequences of my actions if i continue to it. I want to apologize for being too straight-forward with i wanted to do, i just.. its my first time having to deal with different kinds of emotions all at once.."
"And overwhelming at the same time? Yes, i get that too.."
Y/n chuckles, looking back towards the sky.
"I understand.. maybe next time, let's do our best to avoid any.. of those happening again."
Kaizo nodded in her direction, a serious expression painting on his face.
"Thank you.."
he said softly, smiling at her considerate words.
Kaizo and i sat quietly on the picnic blanket, watching as the sun said its last goodbyes and the moon replaced the light with its smile.
"Its getting late, we should head back."
Kaizo spoke out, before holding out a hand for me to grab.
"Oh, alright."
I grabbed onto his hand as he pulls me back up.
