//Chapter 28// Was he?

Kaizo ran back towards his ship with Y/n tightly in his arms, the ship was parked behind a tall building, which seemingly hiding the ship from notice.

Kaizo shuts the door as he lowered Y/n to the ground. "Stay here." He says comfortingly. "I'll go get you some new clothes to wear."

"Kaizo.." before he could even leave her side, her hand grasp against his wrist, stopping him from going.
"Was all you said... was it all true...?" Y/n looks up at him, begging for an answer.

"Y/n, right now that's not important." He replied. "Its your safety what matters now, and i promise i'll be sure to answer that question by the time this is all done, okay?.." His hand caressed hers gently.

Y/n felt a little disappointed in his answer, she were hoping he'd say yes, but he didn't even answer the question.
As he walked away to the other rooms, she huffed in an annoyed expression.
Could he really love me? Was the arrangement useless if he did love me? What's the point, even if he says yes this was all just an alliance.. there's no care in having feelings for each other. I shouldn't be feeling this way, if Kaizo felt the same— he should remind himself that... we just cant.

It was like destiny didn't want the two of them together, two separate ways and lives.. it was impossible. Her trains of thoughts were suddenly halted as Ying and Yaya ran inside the room.

"Miss L/n!" They both exclaimed, happily. "How are you feeling? Are you hurt?" Yaya flew closer, inspecting every inch of her and her body, seemingly searching for any bruises or any injuries that needed to be taken care of.

"I'm fine girls, thank you." Y/n forced out a small smile as Yaya landed in he floor. "Oh, and the PowerSphera is right on the couch.. i dont know if its fully charge or not, so you both should take it to the others and charge it there."

That will get rid of the two for a while.
Ying and Yaya nodded in sync, before speeding away with the PowerSphera in their arms. She sighed softly, finally having the space only to herself.

Suddenly, Y/n jumps as the door opens once more. Y/n groaned quietly, and you regretted it since Kaizo held two sets of pairs of clothes and was handing out to her.

"Here, change first." Kaizo softly gazed down on her. "And your father is on the phone, so you should hurry." Kaizo adds before leaving the room again.

Y/n tensed as the mention of her father came out of Kaizo, did he hear what Kaizo said? Did he know what i did? Is he aware that i'm catching feelings for a guy which isn't even allowed?..
Panic came, and Y/n quickly waltz towards the bathroom, thinking of any possible scenarios in her mind.

After a while, Y/n walked inside the control room, with Kaizo inside. Her father's face pops on the screen with a frowned face, and his lips curled down.

"Y/n.." His voice rough and cold. "Are you alright?.." suddenly, her father's tone changes to worry and concern.

"I'm fine, father.. just slightly scratched but i'm alright." Her smile softens at her father's concern. "How about you father? Are the others okay?.."

"Yes, they were evacuated before you and the space hunter came." He nods, Y/n felt like a heavy bricks was lifted from her shoulder in relief. "And they need their Captain." He smiles down on the screen, looking down at her little girls.

Y/n nods in determination, smiling but was quickly stopped by Kaizo. "But sir, she almost died in the hands of that monster.. there's still a possibility that Simon is after her. After our interaction, he might've grown some interest on her.. so its too dangerous to send her to battle aswell for the injured."

"I'm perfectly fine Kaizo, i'll be careful dont worry-" She tries to ease Kaizo's worries.

"And allow him to take you again? Y/n, you should know your actions bought you to him, and i cannot let that happen. Not again." He said firmly, narrowing his eyes at her.

"But someone needed help! That old lady was falling behind! She was screaming for someone to help-" She says defensively

"Boboiboy and the others were there!.. they could've saved the lady!-" He spat back.

"Then why didn't they helped me?!.. where were they when the doors closed on me- where were they when you expect them to arrive and help the others who fell behind?!—" Y/n shouts, accusingly towards Kaizo.

"Enough, both of you. It was both your fault. You should've made sure that your plans were going to work despite the rush in thinking it."  Her father interrupts the argument, leaving an awkward silence. "Y/n will return to my ship, and help with the other crew. But dont worry Captain Kaizo, i will not send her out. She will remain inside the ship with me." Her father says coldly at the two. "Until then, be careful and stay safe."

The screen blurs out before the call ended. Leaving Y/n and Kaizo in a deep silence, both heavily breathing

Damn it..
Y/n cursed inside her head, her hands balling into a fist as her head lowered in shame. In between the silence Kaizo groaned loudly, then marching closer towards her.

She didn't had any chance to say anything to scold him, He grips on the back of her and her waist was tight, pressing her against a wall behind her before firmly and forcefully pressing his lips against Y/n in anger.

Y/n's eyes widen in shock at Kaizo's outburst, holding onto him loosely.
"Mmhp!—" she mumbles, trying to pry him away.

And when Kaizo finally pulled away, both of them panted like they ran a thousand miles, Kaizo than leaned on the side of her face in her ear. His breath fanning against her skin and his lips barely touching his ear.

"You need to remember, Y/n..." He whispers before adding, "You're mine."
Then he pulls away from her, walking out of the room, leaving her there trembling and flustered and confused. What he said didn't make any sense.. or his actions.

"What?!" Y/n quickly replies, frustrated as you followed behind.
