Y/n shifts from side to side through the bedsheets, unable to sleep. Though, she tried her best to remain her eyes closed and shut, attempting to get a proper rest from then on.

It only has been five wildest days of her life. Ever since entering Kaizo's life, she had a wild ride. Feelings that she couldn't understand, and emotions to confuse her. Her mind was still running with tons and tons of questions adding to her lists, she could barely let her mind rest.

"Why can't I fall asleep?..." Y/n asked herself as she tossed and turned, groaning at the fact she was having trouble sleeping. Perhaps it was due to the whirlwind of emotions and confusion that had come into her life ever since she met Kaizo.

She couldn't stop thinking about him, and the questions that plagued her mind didn't make it any easier.
Was he just toying with her? Did he feel the same way she did?
These questions kept running through her mind, making it impossible to relax and shut off her thoughts.

She shifts once more in bed, still wide awake as thoughts race through her mind. She attempts to clear her thoughts and fall asleep, but the barrage of questions continues. Memories of the time spent with Kaizo flood her mind.

Is Kaizo genuinely interested in her? Does he value their time together as much as she does? Or is this all just a game to him?

Surely she was only overthinking on such little things she shouldn't bother on thinking. For whatever reason she was feeling, it was all just an arrangement afterall, and she had already forbid herself from falling to a guy who she signed to arranged with forcefully by her father's words.

As she lays there in the dark, the thoughts refuse to cease. Despite her attempts to keep her emotions in check, a deep sigh escapes her lips. She stares at the ceiling, the darkness doing little to soothe her troubled mind. Feeling frustrated, she mutters under her breath.

"Damn it.. Why can't I stop thinking about him?"

Before she could close her eyes, the door of the bedroom then suddenly swung open. Startled by the abrupt intrusion, Y/n squints her eyes as the sudden brightness floods the room. Blinking a few times, she adjusts her sight to see Kaizo standing at the door, still dressed in his suit and tie. His expression remains stoic as he moves into the room.

"Your still awake.."
He mutters as he steps inside the room.

Y/n's heart quickens at the sight of him. Surprised and taken aback, she responds, her voice slightly hoarse from the lack of use.
"Yeah.. I couldn't sleep.."

"Is something on your mind that's keeping you awake, my dear..?"

Y/n watches as Kaizo moves toward the closet, undoing his tie and unbuttoning his suit. Despite her efforts to act nonchalant, her heart thumps loudly in her ears, and drumming against her chest. She then begins to grow more and more nervous, her palms sweating beside her, and her attempts of acting as normal as possible was quickly failing.

"Just couldn't seem to quiet my thoughts, that's all.."
She tries to keep her voice as steady as possible, not enough to draw a noticeable mark that she had began shaking out of nervousness.

Kaizo continues to undress, his back turned to her. Y/n watches him silently as he unbuttons his suit, her heart racing in her chest.
He seems unaffected, while she is feeling a strange mix of emotions. She tries to dismiss what she was feeling, attempting to keep her inner turmoil hidden.

Kaizo glances over his shoulder at her, a hint of concern in his eyes. He tosses his suit jacket onto the chair nearby.
He seems to have caught onto something, noticing the subtle shift in her tone.

"Is that so?.. Perhaps you should try relaxing a bit then."

He turns fully to face her now, his shirt slightly unbuttoned and exposing his toned chest.

Kaizo's exposed chest catches her off guard, and she feels herself become more flustered. Her cheeks flush with a subtle blush as she tries to look away, but finds it difficult. Y/n then feel herself getting tense at the sight, a small blush creeping up to her cheeks as she continued to stare.

"Maybe you should take some rest, its getting late.. i'll be in bed soon, i'm just going to take a quick shower."

Kaizo sees the blush on her cheeks and notices her gaze fixed on his unbuttoned shirt. A small smirk then curls up to his lips, finding her reaction cute and entertaining.

"Sure, you go ahead. Take your time."

He watches her nod and stand up from the bed. Before she leaves the room, he speaks again.

"Make sure to actually go to sleep this time."

The thought of him in the bathroom, completely naked, causes her blushing to intensively increase, and her heart rate quickens in response.

"Yeah.. I'll get some rest, then.."
Y/n nods quietly, trying to hide her flustered state.
"Goodnight, Kaizo.."

She shifts back inside the sheets, covering her face with the blanket. She feels her heart thumping more loudly than before, it was hammering against her chest very hard now.
He's going to be the death of me..
