//Chapter 29// The last of him

Kaizo and I quickly exited his ship in silence, my task was clear and i wont cause and issue this time. I still felt guilty and ashamed about our argument, but at the same time frustrated and embarrassed.

Kazio stops at the corner of the wall of the building, his head peeking out. I stood beside him, looking down to his hands. When was the last time i held his hand for real?..
I shook my head to get rid of daydreaming, I couldn't afford of being distracted.

"Alright, you must hurry.. you need to return to your Father's ship immediately," He backs away from the corner, looking down at his gadget, sending my father a message. "And i expect that you wont be in trouble this time." He adds, his eyes quickly glancing towards me until we heard a loud crash.

"I wont be able to stay, we must hurry. I dont think Boboiboy can distract him for too long anymore." He says, before grabbing my wrist and buckling a small wrist watch. "If you're in need or in danger, ping me in this. Now go, hurry."

I look down at the wrist watch, too reluctant to go. I noticed Kaizo getting ready to help Boboiboy.

"Kaizo, wait-" I grab his wrist, pulling him back. I didnt even know what to say, maybe i was to hesitant to let him go just yet. "Y- you'll.. be careful.. right?"
Maybe i want him to stay..

"I should be the one telling you that, sweetheart." He turns his gaze on me softly, his lips curling into a small smile. "But you need to go.. Boboiboy needs my help now."

My grip slowly loosens at his last statement, my shoulders slightly slumped. "Be careful.."

"I will." He then firmly nods, before running off to help Boboiboy and Fang fight off Simon.

In the mean time, me and my crew will be able to secure the palace and prevent Simon from entering the sacred chambers of the Star. And hopefully, my father prepared plans to do it successfully.

I turned my gaze to the side, and saw my father's crew ship landing not far from where i was hiding. I quickly ran towards the ship, hoping to make it without being noticed. The dust below the ship flew all around as it lands, my eyes widening with hope as i see Cathy on the entrance of the ship, holding her hand out for me to grab.

"Cathy!" I jumped into her arms, it was normal to miss your best friend, after being able to see your one closest friend for many months felt like a century.

"I missed you!" She squeezed me into the hug before pulling me inside.
"Lets get you change!" She then dragged me further through the ship as it takes off.

Cathy pulled me into the girl's locker room. "Go change! I'll wait for you outside." She smiled before leaving me inside to change.

I stepped towards my locker, opening it. Seeing my Uniform hanging and my pictures when i had just been recruited by my father for training, i sighed, bringing memories back of the old times. I glanced down to my wrist watch as i grabbed my uniform, will Kaizo make it?..

Timeskip~

The others and I rushed to the emergency room, in task of helping those who were injured crewmates during Simon's arrival.

I soon learned thag these group was send out to secure the palace, but failed due to Simon's little minions attacks.
I was starting to overthink that Simon was too powerful for us to defeat, but i realized that Boboiboy has more potential than him.

I was determined and hoping that we will leave this planet in Victory.

A small timeskip

I stood by the parked ships, helping out people who were injured to be transported out of the small Medical ship. I was currently bandaging up an injured person when the large ship shook, my head snapped towards the entrance of the ship where staffs and crews ran in a panic and alerted expression.

"What's going on-" The patient grabbed my arm tightly, noticing the crew members were starting to panic.

"The ship is being grabbes ny the hunter's crew!" One staff informs, calling out the emergency crew to the back of the ship. "Medics! You must ensure the patient' safety! We'll prepare the escape pods, and be sure to form a group!"

I trembled. The ship was attacked.. could it be... Kaizo and Boiboiboy failed to draw him off? Was kaizo... Is Kaizo in danger?!

I quickly glanced over on my wrist watch, attempting to reach Kaizo.
"Cmon cmon.." i waited until Kaizo picks up, and sadly.. he didn't.

"Y/n! Lets go!" Cathy calls me from behind. I sat by the patient's side, my breathing became ragged as my mind rushed with thoughts. "Y/n?"
The patient's gaze was at me, she stared at me for a long time, seemingly noticing my change of behavior.

Suddenly, i could feel her rough palm ontop of mine. "Honey, we must go.." she whispers with her cracked voice.
"He will be all right, i'm sure of it.. your husband is a strong and powerful person, he wont be defeated that easily." She adds, holding my hand firmly still.

"Y/n, we need to pack their belongings up so we can leave-" Cathy steps closer, her hand resting by my shoulder. "We need to go." She repeated.

No.. i couldn't. My mind was currently in a battle between helping Kaizo and helping my crew and people to evacuate.

"I cant leave Kaizo.." I argued back, before sprinting away towards the exit.

"Y/n! Where are you going?!" Cathy calls out to me as i ran out of the emergency area.
I cant just turn away and leave, Kaizo was my husband, and i dont plan to abandon him during this fight. I might've been the cause of his injuries, and i was also willing to make up for it— for all the damage i have caused him— for all the stressed i bought to him.

I was going to help Kaizo, and not even my Father will stop me..

-its quiet a short chapter (boring aswell and maybe a little rushed) but hopefully i'm able to update without a rush on the weekends! ^^ thank u sm for 2k reads!
