𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 ~ Kaizo x reader

//Chapter 27// Was it just a bad dream?

"Kaizo!-" I didn't have a chance to leak all Simon's plans to Kaizo until he covers my mouth with his hand, still gripping on my shoulder tightly.

"That's adorable.." He mumbles against my ear, teasingly smiling down at me.
"But of course, if you're willing to fight for her, but there will also be a cost.."

Kaizo's eyes closed, breathing in as his grip loosens from his blade. "What cost will that be?"

"If you win, I'll keep her and the PowerSphera with me fairly. And if you win, i'll surrender her to you, aswell as the PowerSphera.. and death they will face." He laughs, his claws caressing down on the skin of my neck. "Do we have a deal, Captain?"

There was a fifty fifty chances that he will win, or loose. And loosing wasn't in the choices. Kaizo was determined, and i knew he was going to win the fight. Despite my lack of trust, his abilities will prove that my doubts are wrong. And hopefully, i can return home... with him.

I didn't want to sit and watch as the battle between the two powerful people unfolds, i knew i was still useful, and hiding my power wasn't an issue anymore since everyone will know about it in the future anyway. I decided to come up with a wild plan— In the mean time as Simon is distracted from fighting off Kaizo, i'll be able to use my (insert your chosen ability) power to melt off the metal cuffs that was binding my hands together. I'll be able to escape and kick his minions asses by the time i retrieve the PowerSphera.

"Master, are you sure we cant do this later?" One of his minions say in a worried tone. Simon turns to him, with a scowl.

"Who do you think you are?.." He frowns. "I dont back out on fights, unlike you all pests who keeps getting in my way of winning!" He accuses, and every one of his minions lowered their head in shame, being over powered by their master.

"I dont want to waste anymore time." Kaizo answers, his helmet enveloping his face which i find oddly attractive and letting his cape fly off his shoulder.
"Lets begin."

"Very well..." Simon's smirk returns, before he shoved me towards his minions without a warning. "Set her down and dont let her escape, that's an order." He says before jumping off the deck of the ship.

I focused on aiming my hand towards a solar star, watching as my hands glow slowly as my power charges up. I smirked quietly as they all held me in place.

The fight soon began, and the two were like fighting to death. Kaizo and Simon's blades clashes with each other as they continued to attack, and i needed to hurry if i want to get the PowerSphera out of the ship before the battle ends. Every one of his minions was focused on the fight, and it was easy to slip off through the cuffs.

"You should keep an eye out." I mocked as my hands melted the metal cuffs as they let out a surprised yelp, i swung my feet, knocking the one's who were holding me down to the ground.
"That's what you get for insulting my ability, and my husband." I growled.

I quickly ran back inside the ship, the hunters also chasing behind me. I ran towards a steamy and gloomy room, I immediately shut the door, hitting against the button so it wont open. I hear them pounding against the metal door as i approach the PowerSphera that sat the middle of the room inside its charging port.

How did i know this was here? They were stupid enough to flash it on the screen on one of the security cameras all around the ship to "guard" the PowerSphera.

"Gotcha." I smiled in victory as i held on the PowerSphera. I navigate around the room, hoping to find a small window or an exit i could escape on.
Luckily, there was a small window way up from the curved wall.

"Open the damn door!" His minions muffled voices echoed through the other side, trying to get the jammed door open. "Damn it!" They cursed, knowing the consequences they will face.

(I cant rlly come up a name for the bot so bare with me here LOL but for all we know, it sucks energy from various planets)

I hopped off the window, without hesitation. I sank on the sand as i landed, before running to the clearing. I saw Kaizo and Simon still in the fierce and dangerous battle. I held on the PowerSphera tightly as i ran.

"Y/n doesn't love you, and you know that!" Simon smirks as he continue attack Kaizo with his sword. "I'm aware of the arrangement, and she will grow bored of you, i'm sure! She will choose me, and only me!"

Kaizo grunts, barely dodging his sharp blade. "You really think she'd choose a monster over me? Think again." He scoffs. "We're both aware of that, but it will not stop me from loving her even if its just an arrangement!"

"Run back to the ship!" He then turns to my figure and shouts as he struggled on Simon's attack, Simon's blade nearing on the skin of his neck.

I couldn't leave Kaizo. My veins glowed as i summoned a ball of light towards Simon, managing to blind him as he yelps in pain. "I would never choose to be with someone like you!" I yelled.

"You brat! Get back here!" He roars as he covers his eyes. "How did you escape?!— Tch, those fools!" He then backed out from the fight before running towards me.

My eyes widen in horror as i see him quickly approaching, suddenly, a glass shield covered me from his attack. I held on the PowerSphera for my dear life. Simon's fists pounds against the shield, i collapsed to the ground as it shook.

"You will stay with me, or face the consequences of your disobedience!" He commands, still pounding against the shield.

"Leave my wife alone!-"

Before Kaizo could even tackle Simon to the ground, Boboiboy wind interrupted and came crashing down with his cyclone. Boboiboy snickered.
"Dont worry Captain! We'll help you!"

Then Boboiboy Thorn sprinted towards Simon, with his whip in hand. "Got you now!" He exclaims as he summons veins covered by thorns in his way. "Captain! Get Miss L/n away hurry!" He says, dragging Simon by his leg as he struggled.

"Brats!" He cursed, trying to pry off the thrones in his legs and body.

Kaizo immediately ran to me. "You alright?" He grabs my hand, before carrying me into his arms. "Lets get you to safety."

He ran away as fast as he could, letting Boboiboy and his friends handle the rest of the situation. I held onto his neck, firmly but not too tight. My mins rushed with thoughts about his statement earlier.

Was what he said was true?.. He... Loved me despite being in an arrangement?
