[Iris ] - [Gogodolls]Vienna arrived at school only to be met with the unsettling news that there had been a drastic development in the investigation of Hana's murder. The police had begun searching the hill behind the school building, searching for any clues related to her death.
During class, as Vienna went to the front to hand in her assignment, Hari followed close behind. Leaning in, her voice low and filled with remorse, Hari apologized profusely, "I'm so sorry, Vienna. I swear, I didn't say anything, but that officer—he's sharp. He managed to piece together Hana's thoughts just from that one call."
Vienna's heart clenched. She had trusted Hari to stay silent, but the investigation was closing in, far quicker than she had anticipated.
"It's alright."
"I'm concerned about the investigation's progress," Hari said. "I hope no one else saw you going to the hill behind the school building. And it would be terrible if it turns out like those K-dramas where the police uncover a crucial piece of evidence linking you to Hana's murder. Don't worry, I didn't tell the police officer that Hana also invited you to the hill; I only mentioned that she wanted to meet me."
Vienna fell into silence.
Throughout the day, her gaze frequently drifted toward the hill behind the school building. She wondered what the police might uncover: bloodstains, footprints, strands of hair? Would the torrential rain and storm from a few days ago have washed away any critical evidence?
She also thought to herself, What exactly was Ni-ki doing at this very moment?
Just as the teacher was about to leave the office, the thunderous screech of a motorcycle braking echoed through the hallway. The brash, unruly teen dismounted, yanking off his helmet and casually unbuttoning his sleeve as he did.
As Ni-ki's teacher glanced at the motorcycle parked outside the office, he was sharply reminded of the description of the raincoat man circulated by the police. Although he had a few students who matched the description, the police had yet to provide any updates following their previous observations.
Little did he expect that another student fitting the description would walk through his door today.
"Teacher," Ni-ki's voice was icy, carrying an edge of impatience.
"Oh." The teacher shook off his surprise, focusing on his task. "Are you here to collect your graduation certificate?" He began searching through his drawer. "You've been skipping classes quite a bit lately, haven't you?"
