This story is based on the tragic day that changed Americans forever.
On the morning of Tuesday September 11th, 2001, suicide terrorists flew a plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York. Minutes later a second plane was flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
A third plane was flown into the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
The fourth plane was presumably headed for the White House or the U.S. Capitol, crashed into a open field in Pennsylvania.
Tragically, 2,996 people died that day and over 6,000 people were injured. Innocent victims, military and first responders were all among that perished that day. Because of this tragedy, several Americans opted to join the military.
We are honoring this tragic day with this story because no matter what America will never forget.
