Two weeks later,
"I've got orders Win..we are shipping out immediately." James said
Winnie took a deep breaths.
"Come home..I can't lose anymore people." She said
"You know I can't make that promise but I will do my best." He said
"Daddy.." Bucky said as he came in.
"Hey buddy.." he said
"Is it true? Do you have to go away? Landon Thomas at school told me that his mama and daddy are deploying so he has to move away." Bucky said
James squatted down, "I do son..but you will be here with mama. She needs you and your sister and brothers to help her with Xavier and his siblings. That's why daddy is going away to fight..for those like Aunt Jules and Uncle Colin alot of people were killed that day for no reason so Daddy has to go fight the bad guys." James said
"Can I go?" Bucky said
James smiled, "When you turn 18 bub..then you can fight the bad guys." James said
"I don't like bad guys daddy. They made my mama cry nobody makes my mama cry." Bucky said
"I don't like seeing mama cry either unless it's happy tears." James said
They had a family movie night, and ate pizza. The next morning they all said their goodbyes, James hugged Winnie tight.
"Love you baby doll I will see you soon." James whispered then he kissed her.
They watched as the military jets flew off.
