After Bucky and Tessa took a nap after he did a tour of Fort Benning. They were awaken by Coy and Xavier.
"Hey little J..dad wasn't lying she's beautiful." Coy said
"You two shut up.." he said as he woke up.
"Dad sent us up to tell you two to get ready for dinner. Mom said to make sure dresses are appropriate." Xavier said
"Yeah yeah get out." He said
"Who are they?" Tessa said
"That is my little brother Coy, and my cousin Xavier who my parents adopted after 9/11 so he's my other brother." He said
They both got up, and took a quick shower. While she was doing her hair and make up, Bucky unzipped all her dress bags as he put on his dress blues.
He smiled when he saw one dress he knew his grandmother would love. He found her shoes for it, and a clutch.
"Someone's been in there grandmother's stuff." He said as he came into the bathroom.
"Yeah, I love vintage. I figured I could score some points with your grandma. Nat said she is a General's wife." She said as she finished her lipstick.
"Yes she is. I laid out everything for you darlin I can't wait to see you in it." He said
She stepped out of his bathroom to put her dress on, and he helped her with her heels.
"You make everything look gorgeous my darling." He said
She smiled at him, and he kissed her hand. "Let's go my love." He said as he put his hat and gloves on.
"You look so good James.." she whispered
"Oh thank you darlin..but it is you that looks good." He said as they walked out of his room.
They arrived at James Sr's house, and they went inside. Bucky introduced her to his whole family. His grandparents watched him all night James approached his parents.
"Mom what is it?" James said
"I have never seen him smile as much as he has tonight. He's genuinely happy and in love." Imelda said
"Your mother is right. That boy hasn't stopped smiling." James Sr said
"I know..he's in love." James said
That night Bucky and Tessa made love again till they were dripping sweat.
"Oh God I love you baby." Bucky said as he finished with her on top.
"I love you." She whispered as she kissed him.
"Mmmm I need sleep baby mmm cause I have to be at 4." He whispered
"Mmk let's sleep." She whispered as she laid her head on his chest.
