Sept, 11, 2001
It was the morning of Sept 11th it was 3AM in the morning when Hilaria got up for her shift at the hospital, Nathaniel joined her in the shower where they had sex.
He kissed her when he finished, "I love you baby..and I will miss you. See you when you get home." He said
"See you later my sexy hunk of a husband." She said
She finished getting ready for work and left, around 6AM Nate got the kids up for school and daycare. He dropped Tessa off first at daycare.
"Daddy loves you baby bear I will see you later ok?" He said
She hugged him, "I wuv you daddy." She said
He left the daycare, and drove over to the elementary school where he dropped off Carson and Colby.
"You boys be good I love you both." He said
"Bye Dad." They said in unison as they went into the school.
Nate went to begin his shift at the fire department.
Meanwhile in GA, James and Winnie were up before anyone enjoying a cup of coffee it was now their wedding anniversary. Once the kids were up she made breakfast for everyone. She had the news on as Coy and Bucky played with their cars in the living room floor.
At 8:46 AM a plane struck the north Tower of the World Trade Center, and became breaking news across every news station.
"James!" Winnie yelled
He came in from showering, and saw the news. "What the hell?" He whispered
He began to turn up the tv, "Boys enough with the car noises.." James said
Bucky looked at the tv, and it was now 9:03 AM when the south tower was struck.
"Daddy why did that plane do that?" Bucky said
"Oh my God! Jules!" Winnie screamed as she found her phone.
She began to frantically called Juliette, and Colin's phone not knowing that one of the planes that hit the tower was Colin's flight to LA. James began to call his father on what was going on.
In NY, it was chaos as black smoke filled the air, and Nate frantically called his sister in law to get the kids to her house as he boarded a fire rig then he called Hilaria who was watching the news.
"Hil baby stay at work do not leave. I love you baby." He said
"The kids Nate.." she said with tears.
"I called your sister, she's getting them." He said
"Nate please be careful..come home to me." She said
"I love you baby..I gotta go." He said
At 9:37 AM it came across the news that Pentagon had been struck by a plane. James looked at his kids.
"They are staying home Winnie do not send them to school." James said
"Yes.." she whispered as she cried
Bucky stood over by her holding her hand. "Mama it's okay.." Bucky said
"Ahhh!!! Oh my God! Oh my God!!!" Winnie screamed
It was now 9:59 and the South tower collapsed.
At 10:07 AM Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania, and twenty minutes later North Tower collapsed.
Winnie cried all day as she watched the news with her kids beside her praying her sister was alive as well as her brother in law. She was also praying her nieces and nephews were ok.
Hilaria was also praying at work that Nate was ok.
