"Happy anniversary love.." Nathaniel said to his wife.
She giggled as she made pancakes, "Happy anniversary." She said
He kissed her head as they heard their twin boys run down the stairs.
"Morning mama..no school today?" Colby said
"Well there is, but today is a special day and we want to spend it as a family." Hilaria said
Then they all heard "Daddy daddy help.."
Nathaniel went to the stairs to see their little 2 year old daughter Tessa standing at the top of the stairs. He smiled at her then climbed up the stairs to get her.
"Come on Tessa Anne mama is making your favorite." He said as he picked her up.
After breakfast, they all got ready to spend the day at Coney Island. It was the perfect family day and how they wanted to spend their 10 year wedding anniversary.
Meanwhile, at Fort Benning in GA Winnie Barnes was on the phone with her sister.
"So the plan for Christmas is we are coming to you." Juliette said
"That sounds good to us. Coy and little J will love that they love when you all come to visit plus mom and dad will be happy to see you all." Winnie said
"Yeah I know that's what I told Colin this morning before he left for Boston." Juliette said
"Boston? Why is he going to Boston?" Winnie said
"For a meeting then he's flying out to LA for another one in the morning." Juliette said
"How's the job search going? I know you hate working in the restaurant at the WTC building." Winnie said
"Not well but I will find something soon." Juliette said
They continued their conversation as Winnie made lunch for Coy and Bucky since they had a half day of school that day.
Back in NY, Hilaria and Nathaniel had a dinner just the two of them while her sister watched the kids for a bit for them. When it was time for bed, Nathaniel tucked in Tessa read her a bedtime story till she fell asleep. He helped Hilaria get the boys settled in bed before they went to sleep themselves.
"Best day ever Nate.." she said as she snuggled into her husband
"Yes it was my darling.." he said as he kissed the top of her head.
