In the last three years, which now total seventeen since I was arrested, I have felt something strange in my chest. Sometimes, they are like pulsations, a strange energy that manifests when I hear news related to the Daemon Ritus. Other times, it happens when Joe attacks me with his usual hatred. It's like an invisible connection binds me to that damn artifact, even after all this time.

One rainy night, Joe approached me as always, with his fists clenched and that look full of resentment. "You fucking bastard!" he growled, raising his hand to hit me once more. Pain coursed through my body, but this time, something inside me clicked. I felt like I couldn't take it anymore. "Be quiet!" I yelled at him angrily, and at that moment, a strange energy began to course through my body.

It was a dark, evil sensation, similar to the one I felt when I first joined the Daemon Ritus. The television was on, showing a report about how the device was now in Paris. As I processed what was happening, I saw something on the screen: the Daemon Ritus opened for a second, as if responding to my energy.

Joe looked at me, surprised by the intensity of my scream. "Leave me alone," I said in a voice that didn't sound like my own. Suddenly, a force came out of me, a power I couldn't control, and it hit Joe with such violence that it threw him against the wall. The next thing I saw was something incredible: Joe's soul left his body, as if absorbed by an invisible force.

I looked back at the TV and watched as the Daemon Ritus slowly closed. Then I looked back at Joe, who now looked... different. His body was intact, but his eyes were empty, lifeless, as if he were a simple shell. "Get up," I ordered him, not knowing if he would respond. To my surprise, Joe stood up immediately, without a word, like an obedient robot.

"Jump," I said, and Joe, without hesitation, began to jump. Seeing this man, who had spent years tormenting me, now jumping around like a doll, was a mixture of terror and amusement. I couldn't help but let out a malicious laugh as he continued to obey my orders.

But after the laughter, came disbelief. What the hell had he just done? He had caused a man's soul to leave his body and be absorbed by the Daemon Ritus, who was thousands of miles away. This was so much more than I had ever imagined.

My interest in researching more about the Daemon Ritus skyrocketed. I couldn't stop thinking about what had just happened. He had discovered a new power, something much darker and more dangerous than he had experienced before. And now, more than ever, I had to understand it.
