I have to keep wearing this ridiculous necklace with my name on it, pretending to be some random tourist's pet. It wasn't one of my main goals, but I had to make do with what was available at the time. I called him, let's say, Tom. A thin guy, nothing out of the ordinary, just another tourist walking aimlessly through the city center. As we move through the crowd, all I see are hundreds, thousands of people walking through the streets. But I don't see them for what they really are. No, for me they are nothing more than nutrients. Every soul that could serve me, each one one step closer to what I want to achieve.

Although, of course, I can't just absorb them all at once, that would be too suspicious. I need to act cautiously. Step by step, soul by soul, until you are ready for what comes next.

Looking around, I notice a sign announcing a fight. At first, I ignore it, but something about the sign makes me pause. I look closer and can't believe what I see. The fighter in the picture... I recognize him.

Zarkos.

My eyes narrow and a smile forms on my face. I never imagined seeing him again. This is going to be interesting.
