Only two days had passed since my escape, and I had already managed to find a place to hide: a frozen rental apartment in a dangerous area on the outskirts of the city. It wasn't a luxurious place, but that made it perfect. No one asked many questions, and most of the neighbors were more concerned with their own problems.
Best of all was discovering that three of the people who lived in the building had been trapped inside me during my transformation. One of them was the landlord, and the other two were a couple who lived in the apartment right below mine. They knew exactly who I was, and they had no choice but to obey. Now, they were obligated to tell anyone who asked that I was their "pet," in case any curious neighbors saw me hanging around.
Of course, I had to act the part. I bought a collar with a tag, convincing enough that anyone who saw me would think I was just another puppy. All part of the plan.
When I returned to my own apartment, a practically empty place with just a few old, moldy furniture, I knew I had to start working on what really mattered. There, far from curious eyes, I moved all my plans and sat down to plan the next step.
He knew that this time he would need more than just tools. While reviewing my books, I found a fact that intrigued me: a mixture of chemicals could help improve my transformation. I clearly remembered what happened last time. As my arms began to develop, my stomach grew uncontrollably, and instead of the imposing figure I had imagined, I ended up looking more like a fat, disproportionate monster. It wasn't what I wanted.
As I analyzed each of the elements in my plan, I knew this time had to be different.
"I want the transformation to be better this time... and I want to have giant muscles," I told myself, determinedly, as I reviewed the notes and the necessary ingredients. **"I don't want to have a belly again."**
