A Poetic Farewell

If you're reading this, it's too late,

The words I longed to share, now sealed by fate.

A million thoughts, a million pleas,

Trapped within, my voice now ceased to be.

I had so much to say,

But time slipped by, I watched it fade away.

The words I kept so tightly held,

Now forever silenced, my story untold.

If you're reading this, it's too late,

For death has come to seal my earthly state.

No more chances, no more time,

My life's last page, this poem's final rhyme.

I'm gone now, the void is all that remains,

My heart at peace, no more earthly pains.

If you're reading this, please know I cared,

But now my time has passed, my journey shared.
