Don’t fall in love with me, I beg you now,
I’m a storm you can’t calm, and I don’t know how
to stay when the darkness swallows me whole,
to hold on to love when I’m losing control.I’ll make you smile, I’ll make you believe,
but in the end, I’m the one who will leave.
My heart’s a wreck, a broken machine,
held together by threads you’ve never seen.I’ll give you pieces I can’t even keep,
whisper promises I’ll break in my sleep.
I’ll let you in close, but when you’re inside,
you’ll find all the places where I try to hide.Don’t fall in love with me, it’s not safe,
I’m a house built on pain, with cracks in its base.
You’ll hold me together, but I’ll fall apart,
and leave you with pieces of my shattered heart.I’m a soul at war with its own mind,
with battles that leave no hope behind.
You’ll see me smiling, but don’t be deceived—
I’ve mastered the art of making them believe. So don’t fall in love with me, not tonight,
I’m a fading star, losing its light.
You deserve someone who can stay and fight,
but my demons drag me out of sight. If you do, I’ll break you, tear you apart,
leave you mourning with a fractured heart.
So save yourself the tears and the ache—
don’t fall in love with a soul that’s fake.
