Why is my heart beating so fiercely? It's so weak; I'll have to get it checked by a doctor in Mumbai. But what about now? The room lights were already off, and the only illumination came from the soft glow of the lamp.

"Rudra, put me down," I said, wriggling in his grasp.

"Shh, be quiet," he replied calmly, carrying me towards the bed. I have no idea what's going to happen today. Looking at Rudra, it feels like tonight is going to be one of those unholy Wattpad nights in my life.

He gently placed me on the bed and walked towards the cupboard.

I was feeling cold, a result of the stunt we had pulled in the water a little while ago. I hugged myself and started rubbing my arms to warm up. Rudra walked up to me, holding my clothes. "Go change quickly, or you'll fall ill," What? Like seriously?

And I realized that things weren't as I had imagined. I had overthought everything.

The scenarios I had imagined, but he just ruined all my romantic moments by handing me clothes. How thoughtful. I rolled my eyes and snatched my clothes and annoyingly walked into the washroom, because, obviously, I needed to change, or else I would, you know, totally die from being cold.

I had changed into warm clothes and stepped out of the washroom, rubbing my hair with a towel. I noticed that the room lights were on, albeit dimly, and Rudra was standing by the window, talking on the phone.

"If he were just going to be glued to your phone anyway, why bother making me his girlfriend? He could've just married your phone instead", I muttered under my breath as I walked towards the mirror, shooting a glare at Rudra.

And honestly, if I get one chance, I'll make a sacrifice of this phone of him. Relationship Reaper. Bloody phone.

I sat down at the table and started drying my hair, humming to myself. I wasn't doing it to get attention.

I opened the moisturizer and applied some to my hands. Rudra walked up behind me and stood in front of the mirror, flipping his hair and styling it normally.

I completely ignored him and got up to head towards the bed, starting to get ready for sleep. But just as I was about to lie down on the bed, Rudra walked in and sat down on the bed, leaning against the headboard, almost lying down.

He crossed his legs, folded his arms and he gave me a look. "What?" I raised an eyebrow.

"What?" he shrugged.

I scowled. "This is my bed, go sleep in your own room," I said sternly, fluffing up the pillow.

"This is my house, so that makes this bed mine too," he said casually in a relaxing tone.

"But this is my room," I said, throwing a pillow at his face, but he caught it with one hand.

"You're mine too," he chuckled, smiling.
