Jamal's point of events
It was finally time. Both of them made their way to the Trainingslager der DFB 2024. Flo tried his best to stay cool but I knew how anxious he was. It was his first EM and everyone would be watching him, I what was there to not be anxious about.
When we finally arrived at the destination we saw that it was set up by a big building where all of us could hang and discuss strategies or be at the pool and around it were tiny houses which housed two players.I hoped I would get a room with Wirtz since in these upcoming weeks we wouldn't probably be able to have any romantic time. This makes sense but that doesn't make it less sad. I missed some of the other players. It was always nice to see the best of the German players getting all together and playing it made me feel really proud to be apart and able to experience this.
After everyone arrived Julian Nagelsmann held a quick introduction first about him then about what we would do for preparation and then he introduced everyone and handed us our room keys. Sadly however it didn't come as wanted and instead of sleeping next to each other they wouldn't even sleep in the same area. Flo was sleeping on the east side of the campus with Havertz as his roommate and I was sleeping on the west side with Manuel Neuer as my neighbor.
I said a quick goodbye to Flo and made my way into my room to check it out. Honestly it was fine it had a bathroom and a bedroom all you needed. But it was a little small. I wonder if Flos looks the same or if they have different rooms on the other side.
Florian point of events
When we finally arrived I was so excited. The place was massive and its structure pretty cool. Julian our new trainer for the DFB quickly gave us a short speech and then he handed us our rooms. I hoped to be with Jamal but it turned out I got Kai, Kai Havertz. Kai plays for Chelsea and is honestly a great player the way he is able to put in all the technical eats of playing onto the regular match is never failing to impress me. Also the other players are just so impressive it makes me feel a bit wierd. I feel like I don't belong here, they are all so good and I don't think I should be here . I would say I am okay but these players they are worldwide amazing. I just hope no one finds out what a huge fan I am of one especially not even Jamal knows this and I honestly wish that it stays this way. It would be so embarrassing if people knew.
