Chapter 17

Like in the book they started heading to the chamber while being distracted by everything and just like in the books Lockhart stole Ron's wand and misfired his spell causing a cave in. I pulled Harry over towards me causing him to let out a sound of surprise and swing his wand towards me. I caught his hand and forced his wand away from me in case Harry decided to try and fire off a spell into my face from point blank.

"Harry calm down, it's me Alex." I told the struggling guy who froze after hearing my voice before struggling harder and getting loose.

"Ron are you okay?" Harry called through the rubble.

"Yeah I'm fine." Ron called back. "Lockhart's mind is gone though, his memories been wiped, doesn't even know he was. I knocked him out though so he won't be causing any problems."

"Can you get over to this side?" Harry asked Ron while moving a few small rocks as I leaned against a wall and waited for the conversation to end.

"It looks like it'll be a bit before I can get over there Harry". Ron called over. "Go save Ginny, I don't know where that idiot Alex went to, but I'll never forgive him if Ginny dies."

"Your trust in me is rather amazing in it's own way Ron." I yelled at him through the rocks.

"Oh, uh, hi Alex, how long have you been there, ha-ha." Ron asked nervously.

"I've been here the whole time Ron, and I've heard everything."

"Ha-ha." Ron nervously laughed. "You know I didn't mean anything by it right, I just am a bit stressed out and my mouth tends to say things on it's own, ha-ha."

"Sure thing Ron, it's not like I was there to make sure Lockhart didn't run off, or here to pull Harry out of the way of a cave in. Nope no life saving going on over here while you guys brought a useless baggage like Lockhart and have been walking slower than a sloth acting like your here to sight see." I told him irritated while Harry looked at me in shock.

"Well, sorry." Ron apologized to me. "I didn't know you were doing so much, but why didn't you just show yourself and move with us."

"You do realize we're here to save Ginny and defeat a giant monster right." I asked causing both Harry and Ron to shout out. "Oh, yeah."

I'm trying to stay hidden so I might have a better chance to either strike the monster or to save Ginny. I of course knew that I couldn't do either and would mostly act as a distraction and earn some time with an idea I had unless things went right."

I just shook my head before yelling at Ron. "Harry and I will head on ahead to save Ginny, Ron you dig a way for us to get out, I really don't want to have no way to leave and end up trapped in with a basilisk."

"Harry we'll go to save Ginny and meet with the mastermind of all this." I started walking off towards the gate with Harry following me. We reached the gate and I spoke in parseltongue to open it. I covered myself in shadows again and told Harry to act as if I wasn't there.

After the door opened we entered with me following behind Harry and then going around the room and setting up a bunch of battery powered speakers I had my magitech company appropriate from a muggle tech company. We of course added in a magic function so it could run without electricity and a holographic part for the commercial sales, but these ones didn't have the hologram.
