Chapter 39

When dawn came Voldemort came with it. Voldemort was surrounded by his death eaters and the werewolves as he came striding through the front gates of the school. Of course that was because he blew them off last night, but still.

He stopped and looked at me and the other people who stood there glaring at him.

I stood up causing all of Voldemort's henchmen and him to look at me.

"I figure it's about time to get this fight going." I then shot at Voldemort who turned to smoke to dodge my shot. It still killed the poor guy behind him, but Voldemort evaded it.

Voldemort reappeared next to me and knocked my gun away while I started firing off spells that he either blocked or redirected.

Everyone on either side of the courtyard started to fight and were killing each other.

I spoke into another walkie talkie and we all heard an explosion from the forest.

"What did you just do Alex?" Voldemort asked me.

"I simply had the army I had on standby start to move inwards. They spent the whole night setting up a barrier so you couldn't run away and they have finally started to tighten the net."

"That is a great idea, but that also means that you can't run yourself." Voldemort said as he fired off another spell at me that I side stepped.

"I'm not running this time." I grinned at him as I swung my sword at his head causing him to block it with a spell. "I plan to kill every last one of you here today. It'll be a good way to send off my wife you killed."

"Oh which one died?" Voldemort laughed.

"Ginny, and you're going to die today."

"Don't worry Alex, I'll send you to meet her soon enough, and once I get done with you and the rest of these pesky weaklings I'll send the rest of your friends and family too."

We fought back and forth until Voldemort surprised me by kicking my sword away. Who knew Voldemort could kick so high.

He pointed his wand at me and cast his favorite killing curse. It hit me in the chest and all I heard was people scream out no. Apparently our fight was being watched by everyone. I could hear the death eaters cheering while my side was all but crying.

I threw my wand to the side as I fell forward.

Less then a second later Draco appeared next to Voldemort and grabbed me by the collar of my armor.

"Draco, what are you doing?" Voldemort asked.

"I want to see his life fade out of his eyes my lord. He has been torturing me since I was a small child. Please forgive my rudeness, but I feel the need to do this."

"Very well Draco. You have been serving me well and I do reward the faithful." Voldemort then turned to the crowd and started to speak to them about surrendering since both Harry and I were dead.

Harry came outside from the great hall causing Voldemort to cry out in shock. "How, how are you still alive?"

Draco then let me go and stabbed Voldemort in the back causing him to swiftly turn around and strike Draco to the ground.
