Chapter 14: Wheel of Fate

Mikha's POV

Two months after

I just arrived at the new place where Aiah and her family are currently in. As I have promised, every weekend andito ako sakanila, and yes, legal na kami sa side niya.

Medyo nakakahalata na rin naman na raw sila and I didn't expect na magiging supportive silang lahat, including Aiah's father.

Tito said na nakita nila kung pano nasaktan si Aiah sa ex niya and aanhin daw ang lalaki kung sasaktan lang daw yung Queen niya. All they want is to see her happy and kita naman nila how I take care of her and how happy Aiah is with me.

So sending them away for the mean time was easier than I thought. We told them about sa incident na nangyari and they got concerned about Aiah's safety kaya hindi na rin sila nag hesitate pa.

Sobra yung natanggap kong love especially from tita when she heard about my life story. Aiah said it seems mas love na nila ako kesa sa kanya, especially yung kambal. Since I am an only child ngayon ko lang naexperience yung sibling love.

About my father, after an intense 2-week trial and jury deliberation, he was declared guilty and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

How I wish it was just a lifetime but I'm thankful that all my sacrifices paved off. Justice is finally served and mommy can finally rest in peace.

"Mauna na po kami tito and tita." paalam namin before Miguel started driving.

"Aiahtot, tingin," while Marianne switched her phone to the rear cam for 0.5 shot. "Eyy muna kayo jan, eyyy!!"

"Hindi kami maka relate sa Gen Z things niyo."

"OTW to EK." Marianne dictating the caption she intended to put on her IG post "Ate Miks, dapat 'di na natin sinama si ate Aiah, kasi pang Carousel lang yan." she added.

"Hoy, sasakay ako. I have to overcome my fears."

"Ayy oo, weak yan ate Miks." Miguel added.

"Di pwede 'yun, bubuhatin natin siya mamaya." nag pout siya kaya kinurot ko yung cheek niya. "Takot ka nga, babe?"

"Oo babe, feeling ko malalaglag puso ko."

"Try it with me this time. Sasaluhin ko puso mo."

"Awww bebe koooo, bumabanat ka na ngayon?" sabay kiss niya sa cheek ko.

"Tama na kayoooo hoyy!!" kontra nung isa sa harap. "Napaka mo Marianne." sagot naman ng ate niya.

So when we arrived the place, it felt nostalgic and hindi ko maiwasan maging emotional.

"The last time I went here, I came with mommy, baby."

Aiah smiled at me, squeezed my hand, and then pulled me to buy some cat ears.

In the middle of the crowd, Aiah put on me yung cat ears, cupped my cheeks, and then pecked my lips. As always, she doesn't need to say much to comfort me; her actions are enough.

"Huy, kailangan mag kiss dito, 'te?" Marianne complained.

"Inggit ka beh???" Aiah answered.

"Tara na nga, lets G!!!!" Marianne exclaimed while hila hila niya yung kambal niya.

Pinagbigyan namin si Aiah to start with the beginner rides such as the Flying Fiesta and Grand Carousel. This is the first time I've seen her so happy, and it makes my heart happy too. I felt relaxed just by watching her.
