The sun was just beginning to climb higher into the sky, casting a warm glow over the Little Palace as the soldiers moved across the training grounds. Their movements were precise, their focus unwavering as they practiced drills and combat techniques. Aleksander stood at the edge of the grounds, his dark eyes scanning the scene before him, but his mind was elsewhere.

He spotted her almost immediately.

Amira stood on the far side of the training grounds, her gaze fixed on her friends as they ran through their exercises. She looked calm, composed, but Aleksander knew better. After their interactions over the past few days—after everything—they were both keenly aware of the tension simmering between them.

And today, he intended to push her a little further.

His soldiers were all occupied, their attention focused on their training, leaving the perfect opportunity for Aleksander to act. With a confident stride, he crossed the grounds, his eyes never leaving Amira's form as he closed the distance between them.

She didn't notice him at first, too focused on her friends, but Aleksander knew exactly how to get her attention. He approached her silently, his presence a shadow behind her, and then, in one swift motion, he leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear.

"I know you're my mate, Amira," he whispered, his voice low and filled with purpose.

Amira stiffened, her breath catching in her throat as the words hit her like a shock. She didn't turn around, didn't immediately react, but Aleksander could feel the tension in her body, the way her wolf bristled at his proximity.

His lips curled into a faint smile as he continued, his voice barely above a whisper. "You can't hide from it anymore. We both know it."

Her wolf stirred in the back of her mind, growling softly in response to his words, but Amira held herself still. She wasn't going to give in—not yet.

But Aleksander wasn't finished.

Aleksander: Pushing for Submission

The thrill of the game surged through Aleksander as he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against the shell of Amira's ear. He knew exactly what he was doing—pushing her, teasing her, trying to see just how far he could go before she finally gave in.

"You've been running from me for a long time," he murmured, his voice smooth and confident. "But you can't run forever. Not when we both know what this is."

Amira's breath hitched, her heart racing as his words sunk in. She could feel the heat of his body so close to hers, the undeniable pull of the bond that had been growing between them for years. Her wolf was restless, urging her to submit, to stop fighting, but Amira wasn't ready to surrender.

Not yet.

"I know you feel it too," Aleksander whispered, his lips almost brushing against her neck now. "The connection between us. The bond. It's only a matter of time before you submit."

Amira's fists clenched at her sides, her mind racing as she fought to keep control. She could feel the weight of his words pressing down on her, the intensity of his presence making it harder to breathe. Her wolf growled softly in the back of her mind, pushing her to accept what they both knew was inevitable.

But Amira was nothing if not stubborn.

She wasn't going to submit that easily.

Amira: The Fight to Resist

Amira's heart pounded in her chest, her pulse quickening as Aleksander's words wrapped around her like a spell. The truth of their bond was undeniable, but she wasn't ready to admit it—not out loud, and certainly not to him. Not yet.
