Juice and Katy pulled back into TM early the next day. Neither of them had slept well.

Katy headed straight to Lyla, Opie saying good morning to Juice as they arrived. Miles, one of the prospects brought coffee over to them. All four were deep in conversation when Tara arrived. She headed straight towards the dorms at the back of the clubhouse when Opie broke away from the group to stop her. Katy watched curiously as he told her Jax wasn't there, Tara took no notice of him and continued on.

Only a few moments later Tara walked back into the lounge, ignoring everyone as she walked out the door. Katy followed her, Juice watching until a loud slap distracted him, he turned to see Lyla striding away as Opie held his face where she had struck him.
__________

Katy caught up with Tara just as Tara was climbing into her car. "Hey, everything okay?" She asked, ignoring the look of disgust on Tara's face.

"Jax fucked Ima," Tara finally said. Looking at her friend, hoping she would never suffer the same fate with Juice.

"Aww shit Tara, I'm sorry," Katy didn't know what else to say, what else could she say?
"Want me to cut a bitch?" She suggested, hoping to at least cheer Tara up. It worked, a little. Tara cracked a smile, "Nah, leave that to me. Just watch she doesn't get her grubby little mitts on Juice next," she bid her farewell and climbed into the car. Katy stood and watched her drive from the lot before turning to head back inside.

She found Juice waiting for her by the door and whispered to him about what had happened. Juice looked thoughtful for a moment before saying, "Jax is a fucking idiot," Katy smiled up at him. Glad he could see the problem and wasn't trying to tell her that's just how the club worked.

They returned to the bar to drink their coffee and wait for the next issue to crop up.

They didn't have to wait long. Juice was standing behind Katy as she sat on a bar stool cradling the warm mug of coffee in her hands. Her head leaned back gently against his chest, they were enjoying the peace when the rest of the club arrived. Juice kissed Katy lightly on the side of her head then went through to the dorms to get Jax and Opie. They were needed at the table.
__________

Katy watched with a sigh as the guys went into their chapel. She looked around the bar, a few crow eaters, a couple of hangers on, and the prospects. Not exactly stimulating conversation.

She was just about to pull a book out of her bag when Shepherd, a prospect, struck up a conversation. She didn't know much about the guy, he had hung around for a bit before getting to prospect, she had seen him before. She recognised him as one of the guys that was friends with Steve. A hanger on who had attempted to assault her back when she first moved to Charming. She wondered if he knew what had happened to his friend.
"So the life of an old lady huh," he said, gesturing to her beat up face.
She shrugged, "Shit happens," wondering where he was going with this.

"If you were my old lady I'd never have let that happen," she shot him a dirty look.

"You think you could have stopped this do you? You think you're a bigger man than Juice? Or my dad?" At least he had the decency to hang his head at that.

"No, of course not," he stammered, "I just meant..." He trailed off. She waited staring him down, daring him to finish.

"I'd never leave you alone like that," he finally said. Catching her eyes before looking down at his hands.

"Explains why you're single. You don't understand how any of this works," she rose from her seat and went to speak to Phil. He was a prospect too but at least he wasn't a dick.
__________

Clay was explaining the plan, "Oswald's getting us into Manchester, he's got a guy who can get us all the way up to Stranraer, from there, we ferry to Belfast," it seemed simple enough.
