chapter 18

"Another week passed again.

Mary, who was working in the kitchen of the palace, looked up nakshtra and asked,

'naksthra what happened to you? You look so exhausted.'

'You've lost a lot of weight, and your eyes look completely worn out. Aren't you sleeping?'

'I don't know, Mary. I don't feel like eating anything, and my sleep isn't good either. I feel strange, like something is wrong.'

Hearing this, I understood her mental state.
Mary held her hands and said, 'Everything will be alright. Didn't you say he love you? Just give it some time. Once it's over, everything will be fine.' She comforted her in every way she could.

For nakshtra As each day passed, it felt like hope was fading.

Rogan is nowhere to be seen now. Even she felt everyone else seem to be watching over her, unsure of what to do.

Mary, on her way back home, was forcefully grabbed by someone. It was Michael. Nakshatra, seeing this,
Nakshatra grabbed Michael's collar and pushed him away.

'What do you want?' she asked angrily.

He replied, 'I don’t need to interfere you in the matter between us .

As he tried to pull mary again, Nakshatra slapped him.

Mary, watching in shock, felt disturbed.

'Do you all think you can just come and do as you please? Do you think women are just tools to be used and discarded when you're done? If you were her mate , you should have accepted her caringly, not just after so many years, to use her again. Is that what you're trying to do?'

Listening to all this, Mary realized how much Rogan mentally torturing nakshtra

Michael, now enraged, said, 'You’ll pay for this, or else I’ll make you regret it.' H

Though he liked Mary, his father wanted a woman from a traditional, strong family with a werewolves Because of this, he had to marry elsewhere.

He thought of Mary as just a mistress someone to keep on the side. But with everything going out of control, the truth finally dawned upon them."

"Without saying a word, Nakshatra walked towards the front.  Mary,unsure of what to do, looked back and followed her.

Suddenly, she collapsed unconscious. Seeing this, mary panicked and started screaming for help, pleading for someone to save her.

A few people from the village nearby saw this and brought nakshatra to physician.

The doctor asked, 'What happened to nakshtra?

Mary spoke to the doctor, 'I don’t know, it happened suddenly, she just fainted.'

The doctor, after examining her, was shocked.

After carefully looking at her, he said, 'She’s pregnant.'

Hearing this, mary felt as though her legs had lost all strength.

This was no small thing, It felt like event

"Say something, Nakshatra. You’re silent  How long do you plan on sitting there without saying a word?

Upon hearing this, Nakshatra looked at the doctor face.

'I need to go home,' she said softly, then slowly stood up. Without knowing what else to say, she walked home, feeling a weight all over the body

At home, Emily was already there. Noticing Nakshatra’s condition, she began to ask questions again, but Nakshatra said nothing and went straight to her room.
