Y/N stood there and looked at the gravestones of Scott, Jean and the Professor. He thought about everything that happened this past week, the Professor's death, Scott's, Jean's and his own vengeance against Magneto.

Then his mind drifts to Rogue and how she helped him properly grieve something he's grateful for. They thought about getting away from the X-Men for a bit and enjoy the time they have now.

Maybe they should take a vacation from all this? Rogue walked over to him and rested her head on his shoulder, he wraps an arm around her waist.

Y/N: You think we should get away from all of this?

Rogue: You want to? I know we been talking about it.

She shifted her position to look up at him and they both smiled at each other.

Y/N: I do. Just me and you, Hun. It doesn't matter what the future holds for us... As long as I'm with you.

He leaned down and kissed her as Rogue placed her hands on his shoulder and they pulled back.

Rogue: As long as I'm with you, Sugah...

She saw the affection in his eyes and she placed her hand on his cheek and he leaned into her touch.

Rogue: I love you, Y/N. So much.

Y/N: And I love you, Anna Marie.

Inside the mansion, Logan watches the President give a speech on the TV.

President: And so it is with a the thanks of a grateful nation that I introduced our new ambassadors to the United Nations and the representative to the world for all United States citizens, human and mutant alike-- Dr. Hank McCoy.

Logan smiled when Hank shook hands with the President.

Logan: Way to go, furball.

He leaves the living room and headed outside to look towards the gardens, a sense of contentment and warmness fills his chest.

Y/N walked through the halls of the mansion with a smile on his face and glanced at Rogue, studying her features and committing to memory.

Y/N felt so lucky to have her and she thought the same about him, they walked and greeted some of the new students.

Bobby smiled at the couple and dapped up Y/N before bringing him into a hug, they pulled back.

Bobby: It's good to see you in good spirits, Y/N.

Y/N nods in agreement and patted his shoulder.

Y/N: How are things with Kitty?

Bobby: It's been good so far. Thanks to your advice.

They both chuckled softly and Rogue rolled her eyes as she linked her arm with Y/N's.

Bobby thought all about the times he spent with Y/N and developed a brotherly bond, he smiled when he remembered that he might leave with Rogue.

Bobby: No matter what, Y/N. We're brothers to the end.

Y/N smiled at his words and dapped him up one last time before leaving.

Y/N: Till the end, Iceman.

Bobby watched them leave and smiled to himself before leaving as well, Y/N and Rogue entered his room and started to pack.

Outside the mansion, Anthony parked his car and looked over at Raven, he can tell she's nervous and so was he. He took her hand into his and kissed it, reassuring her things will be fine... Hopefully.

Y/N decided to play Beggin' by Madcon and they continued to pack, Anthony got with Raven and they started to walk towards the front door.

Once Y/N and Rogue are done packing, they headed out of the room. Storm opened the front and is surprised to see Anthony there with a woman with him, she knows Anthony but her.

Storm let's them in and led them to the living room, Anthony sat down with Raven and they glanced at each other nervously, afraid of how their son will react.

Rogue talked about the places she wanted to go and Y/N smiled softly as they headed down the stairs, he looked to see Storm waiting for them and tilt his head slightly.

Storm: There's someone here for you, Y/N. They're in the living room.

Y/N is even more confused by this and wonders who is it, he sets his suitcase down and told Rogue he'll be back.

Y/N walked into the living and felt his heart dropped at the sight of his dad with his mom, old feelings of hatred and anger swelled up in him but it disappears.

Raven: Hey, Y/N... My baby boy.

She had a warm expression a stark contrast to what Y/N saw at the dam and he looked at Anthony next.

Anthony: Son, I know you have questions.

Y/N had a lot of questions. Did they still love him? Why did they leave him? Was it because of him? Y/N took a deep breath before responding.

Y/N: I do, Anthony. A lot.

He sighed deeply while he stood there, Raven shifted in her spot, waiting for him to yell at them.

Y/N: I don't know where to start...

Raven was taken back by his soft and uncertainty tone in his voice as she looked at him.

Raven: We don't know either, Y/N. But we're willing to make things right between us.

She stood up and walked over to him and took his hands into her own, Y/N closed his eyes and felt the warmness from her hands.

Raven: I know what we did is wrong... But we had our reasons for doing so. We couldn't drag you into our problems.

Y/N lets out a humorless chuckle, but understanding her situation as a mutant terrorist, but not Anthony's reasoning for doing so.

Raven: We don't deserve your forgiveness, Y/N. We know that. But we want to be there for you.

Why do they want to be there now? Y/N knows he can't hate them forever but he's willing to let things go... And time to focus on the future.

Y/N: Sorrys won't cut, ya know. It's going to take a while for me to forgive you both. So I'm giving you a chance.

He opened his and looked into his mother's, he saw the regret, guilt and relief in her eyes for giving them a chance.

Y/N felt a piece of himself come back and smiled at his mother, he's willing to let the past go and nothing can take this away from him.
