My first and last (MarkRen)

Renjun wanders through his house, cleaning up like usual but singing the whole time. Yuyi stares at him quizzically as he starts to dance around the room.
"Are you ok papa?" He asks quietly. Renjun stops in his tracks and turns with a wide smile.
"I'm just really happy Yu, want to be happy with me?" He giggles and starts dancing and singing with his papa.
Since their dinner date Mark and him have been texting nonstop and after Yuyi goes to bed most nights they will call each other. As much as they wish they could see each other everyday, Renjun has to pace himself, not only for his own sanity but also, he doesn't want to have Yuyi with a babysitter every night.

Tonight he is going out again with Mark, Chenle has volunteered to take Yuyi for a sleepover so they can have a proper date. Yuyi loves his uncles so he is excited.
Tonight they are going to dinner then a movie, since he doesn't have to hurry home.

Chenle and Jisung arrive at 6:30 to Renjun pacing the floor.
"What's up with you?" Chenle asks as he casually walks in. Renjun pulls him to the side and whisper shouts at him.
"He's going to be here any minute. If you were going to be this late I would have met him somewhere." Chenle grabs his shoulders to ward off a mini panic.
"It's fine. We are heading out right away." He nods and goes to hug Yuyi.
"You be good for your uncles ok bub?" He nods and kisses his cheek.
"I will papa, you keep singing and dancing and being happy when I'm gone too ok?" His face heats up as he looks at Chenle who's giggling at him.

"Happy is a good thing." Chenle says as he pats his back. Renjun just nods and shoo's them out. He goes back to pacing the floor until he hears his doorbell ring.
"Hi." He says as he looks around and pulls Mark inside quickly.
"Hi? Are you that happy to see me?" He asks with a crooked smile. Renjun chuckles.
"I am actually." He says before leaning up on his tip toes to kiss his cheek.
"But also Yuyi just left." Mark smiles and pulls him in for a soft hug.
"I know, I saw them." He chuckles at Renjun's panicked face.
"Dont worry, I was still in my car, he didn't see me." Renjun breathes a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to be so secretive, I just..."
Mark kisses him softly on the lips.
"Dont worry, I'm ok with this." Renjun sighs again.
"Thank you." He says softly.

They decide to leave right away so they can make it to the movie in time. They go into a small cafe and are seated in a corner booth.
"Have you been here before?" Mark asks since Renjun picked their date this time.
"Yeah, Yuyi and I eat here sometimes. I hope it's ok? It's not too simple is it?" Mark shakes his head with a fond smile.
"I'm honored that you brought me to one of your hangout spots. I like the cozy feel of this place too." Renjun smiles.
"What's good here?" Renjun hums.
"Anything really, usually when we come I just get a sandwich of some kind." Mark hums and looks over the menu.

As they sit and wait for their food Renjun feels shy as Mark is looking at him with soft eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" He finally asks.
"Because you are beautiful." Renjun covers his cheeks.
"I'm only stating a fact, you can't tell me no one has ever said that to you?" Renjun shakes his head.
"No one that mattered." He says looking in Mark's eyes, now he is the one blushing. He abruptly stands and walks to Renjun's side of the booth and scoots in next to him.

He turns and cups both his cheeks and kisses him gently.
"It's so nice to hear that I matter." He whispers. Renjun's smile stretches beautifully across his face as he nods.
"You are too quickly becoming someone important in my life and it's kind of terrifying." Renjun says barely audible. Mark laces their fingers together and kisses his knuckles.
"Well if it's any comfort at all, you and your son are important to me and I'm terrified that when the time comes, he won't accept me." Renjun smiles softly.
"I'm sure when the time comes, he will be happy it's you."

After dinner they head to the theater. They decide to see Beetlejuice but honestly neither really care about the movie. They are sat back in their reclined seats with their fingers laced together and Mark's thumb gently caressing his hand. They share popcorn and candy and when Renjun gets sleepy he lays his head on Mark's shoulder. Mark sweetly kisses the top of his head.
When the movie ends Mark gently wakes Renjun, he only fell asleep in the last ten minutes so he didn't miss much and Mark thinks it's so cute.
