Chapter - 14

Jhope's car stopped in front of a three-storey house. Jungkook, with half-closed, sleepy eyes, looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings. He hadn't even realised when he had fallen asleep. As he straightened up in his seat and glanced to his side, he noticed Jhope staring at him with an intense, dazed look.

Startled, Jungkook quickly sat up and nervously adjusted his muffler, swallowing hard before speaking shakily,

--" Where are we, bro? Why are we in this place? I want to go home, please.

Hearing Jungkook's words, Jhope's expression darkened, and with a burst of anger, he grabbed Jungkook's arm, pulling him closer. Jungkook, frightened, closed his eyes, his heart racing.

Jhope brushed the hair from Jungkook's face, speaking in a low, threatening tone,

--" Call me 'bro' one more time, and you'll see what happens. I'm warning you.

He let go of Jungkook's arm as his harsh words echoed in the air.

Tears filled Jungkook's eyes as fear overwhelmed him, his playful demeanour vanished. He couldn't understand why Jhope was behaving this way. His voice trembled as he asked,

--" Why are you doing this, hyung? What did I do to deserve this? I was just---

Before he could finish speaking, in a sudden outburst, Jhope grabbed a fistful of Jungkook's hair, pulling him painfully close, his voice loud and furious.

--" I'm not your brother! I love you, can't you see that? We're getting married today!

Jungkook yanked his hand free from Jhope's grip, backing away in shock.

--" You're insane! What are you even talking about? I've always seen you as my brother, and now you're saying this? I hate this! I hate you!

With a surge of anger, Jungkook attempted to leave, but Jhope quickly seized his hand again.

--" Where do you think you're going, Jungkook? Today, we're getting married. Come with me.

He dragged Jungkook out of the car.

--" I will never marry you! You've lost your mind, hyung! I've always seen you as family, but now? Now I hate you!

Jungkook's voice trembled with both fear and anger, and he turned his face away, refusing to look at Jhope.

Jhope's rage intensified at Jungkook's words. He yanked harder on Jungkook's hair, causing the younger boy to cry out in pain. Tears streamed down Jungkook's face as he wept, unable to comprehend how the kind Jhope he had known had turned into this terrifying person. Jungkook had always trusted him, seen him as a caring figure, but now, all of that felt like a distant memory, shattered by this nightmare.

--" Do you think you can hate me?

Jhope shouted, his voice filled with venom.

--" I've loved you since we were kids, Jungkook! I've waited years for you, and now, today, you will be mine!

Jungkook's sobs grew louder as the pain and betrayal overwhelmed him. He couldn't believe this was happening. How had everything turned so wrong so quickly?

Seeing Jungkook in tears, Jhope finally let go of his hair, his own breath shaky as he placed a hand on Jungkook's cheek.

--" I didn't mean to hurt you, little angel, I swear. I wad just- I've loved you for so long. Please, just agree to this. Our families arranged our marriage when we were kids. My father and your father decided this. I've been waiting for you to grow up, for this day.
