Jungkook lay still, clinging to the bed, and Taehyung held his hand, gazing at him. Tears glistened in Taehyung's eyes.

Just a while ago, when Jungkook fainted, Taehyung started screaming like a madman. The guards cowered in fear at his outburst as he carried Jungkook in his arms and rushed him to the bedroom. He carefully wrapped Jungkook's body in a blanket and turned on the room heater. Jungkook's entire body had turned cold as ice.

Taehyung then again called for a guard and ordered him to bring the medicine box. As one of the guards fetched the said thing m, Taehyung hurriedly sat beside Jungkook, removed the blanket from his hand, and gently administered an injection into his hand. After pushing the injection, Taehyung kissed Jungkook's hand and held it tightly.

Slowly, Jungkook's body began to warm up. The medicine started to take effect, and Jungkook's shivering ceased. Gradually, he returned to normal. Seeing this, Taehyung's face lit up with a smile. He pressed a deep kiss to Jungkook's forehead. A single tear fell from his eye onto Jungkook's eyelid.

The only other time Taehyung had shed tears in his life was when he had seen his little angel cry that day. Now, the fear of losing his beloved gnawed at him. He constantly lived with the dread of losing Jungkook. It felt as if someone had already taken his love away from him. That's why Taehyung wanted to keep Jungkook locked away in the vault of his heart. Even if his love didn't want it, he couldn't bear even the slightest distance between them.

As there is a saying that the things we love the most, the ones we keep closest, tend to disappear or get ruined the quickest. That's what happened with Taehyung. His overwhelming love for Jungkook turned into an obsession, madness. The storm named Jungkook constantly raged in Taehyung's heart, and only Jungkook could calm it. If Taehyung wanted to live, to breathe properly, to add some more colour to his life, he needed Jungkook. He needed him, no matter what.

Taehyung then released Jungkook's hand, rested one hand on the bed beside him, and gently caressed the unconscious boy's fluffy cheeks with the other. He leaned closer to Jungkook, letting his body relax, and lay his head on his shoulder, staring at him without blinking. He slid his right hand over Jungkook's left hand and interlined it tightly. Looking into Jungkook's eyes, Taehyung began murmuring softly,

--" I won't hurt you anymore, my love. Why do you always make me so angry? If you didn't try to go away from me, I'd never have to punish you. In my world, disobedience equals punishment. But why did you do that? Tell me. That's why I lost my mind. No one else can touch you but me. No one else can even look at you but me.

He kissed Jungkook's face and, after getting off him, lay beside him on the bed, pulling Jungkook into his chest and wrapping the blanket around them both.

FLASHBACK To Jimin's Engagement Ceremony:

As Taehyung laid Jungkook in his room after Jimin's engagement, he noticed Jhope arguing with a girl at the gate. The girl tried to approach Jhope again and again, but he slapped her hard across the face. The girl grabbed his hand and said,

--" Hobi, you hit me. Didn't you love me? Is this how you show your love?

--" Listen, Lisa, I don't love you. I love someone else, and you know that very well. Stop this drama.
