I roll my eyes at him.He's been asking me for money,apparently he wants to buy a new pair of snickers.

As I'm about to leave I remember that I bought gifts for them.I open my suitcase and take out all the gifts I bought for the family.

After a few moments they all walk in, I hand each of them their gifts.Mom walks closer to me and pulls me into a warm embrace.She is crying...
Ma:You are so sweet my baby...there was genuinely no need.
Me:No sweat mama.
Ma:It's like you knew how much I wanted this set of attire.I've been looking for it but with no luck.Thank you so much.
She says this as she pecks my lips.

We all laugh at how he sounds like the typical old man he is.Everyone else follows with their thank you's as I say my goodbyes.My brothers are staying behind because they still need dads guidance.I head to the car.

Kamva connects her phone to the car's Bluetooth speaker and plays her playlist.We pass by the mall and buy the KFC plain ice creams and some cold drinks ngoba kushushu marn.We proceed with our journey back to Johannesburg with the conversation flowing.
Nathi:Wena Sphira,what's going on between you and Luzuko
Sphira is the nickname given to Phindile by Nathi.Everyone starts saying mmmm and turn to look at her.She looks down as she blushes hard.I never thought I'd see this version of Phindile,not even in my wildest dreams.

She says as she kisses Luviwe's cheeks.I see them through the rear view mirror.

We all look at her with our WTF expressions.

She turns away facing the window with her arms crossed with tears running down her face.

Rex:I...I...do...don't think I want to hear your lousy explanation.
We all gasp at how dramatic she is.If this is pregnancy,may it never locate me.

Us:What?
Rex:Sto...stop the car so I can get out.I'll call my man who loves me so he can come fe...fetch me here.
She says this while putting emphasis on "loves me".Uyaphambana lona shame.I continue driving not even minding her.
She does the unthinkable.She takes off her seatbelt and opens the door. I immediately stop the car,calling my brother Lubabalo.
**PHONE CONVERSATION **
Luba:Sisi?
Me:Yey sisengxakini apha
Luba:(worriedly)Are you guys okay?!
Me:Yes,don't worry.
Luba:Then what's wrong ?
Me:Your pregnant woman here is giving us a hard time,she's being dramatic for no reason at all.Just right now she was opening the door while the car was moving.
I hear silence before Luba sighs.
Luba:How far are you guys?
Me:Uzomlanda?
Luba:Yes.What else can I do?
Me:Oh very well then.We just passed the welcome to Willow Vale board sign.
Luba:You guys are already there ?
Me:(cockily)Yes,kaloku I'm good at driving,so what can I say ?
Luba:Yehake.Anyways park at the nearest gas station I'm coming yeva?
Me:Sure.
I drop the call then look at Rex who's smiling like an insane person.

I drive to the nearest gas station.Phindile tells us she wants to relieve herself.The others say they want to buy some more snacks inside so they also go.I keep watch of Rekelo because I just don't trust her next moves.They all come back from doing their businesses while chatting loudly.

They settle down and go on their phones.About thirty minutes later ubhuti arrives wearing his dirty overalls.

We greet back as he opens Rex's passengers door.

She blushes as she looks down.

Me:(clearing my throat)I think you guys can leave us now before you make her pregnant on top of her pregnancy.
My friends giggle as Rekelo shys away onto Luba's chest.

I drive away after Luba takes Rex's suitcase that was in the trailer.

I start eating it as I drive back to Jozi.
We finally arrive and I start by dropping off my girls.

I get back into the car and look at Phindile through the rear view mirror.
Me:Come sit in the front

She passes Luviwe to me and makes her way to the front.I will not take her to her place since she said it's in a bad condition.Either way I wouldn't want my nephew to live in an unhealthy environment but I just test the waters by asking
Me:Where should I drop you guys off?
Phindile:(nervously)Uhhhmm
Me:Don't be shy now,I'll take you guys in until you find a proper job then you can get yourself your own place.
Phindile:(tearfully)thank you
We drive home ,unpack our things.We freshen up and then binge watch Vampire Diaries.We order some Mexican food that Phindile recommended,she said she used to like it a lot when she had the money to buy it.After 4 hours of lazing around my nose starts itching indicating that it's been long since I had some cocaine.I say.
Me:I'm going somewhere,need anything?
Phindile:No thank you,I'm good.
Me:Okay then,make yourself comfortable I'll be back in a few.
I grab my Volkswagen TSI keys and leave. I drive to the nearest drug addicts I know.

Me:Where can I find the nearest place that sells icocaine.
I ask as my nose starts itching so bad.
Guy1:Our usual supplier has been arrested so yeah

Guy1:Apparently there is the biggest drug lord in South Africa living in Houghton,however I don't know where exactly he lives.You can get some of his most expensive drugs from some of his men who drive around Hillbrow usually at 17:00pm to 18:00pm everyday.
I look at the time and it's 16:33pm
Me:Okay I'll wait,thank you!
I take out two hundred rands from my purse and give it to them.I'm craving some barbecue wings so I go to this grill spot and order 20 of them.I'll eat 10 and leave the other half for Phindile. I drive to Hillbrow and I see an Audi parked near two men. I get out and walk closer to them..
The guy in the car turns to look at me and he looks like he is eye fucking me.Eww.I shift uncomfortable.
Me:Are you the drug seller?
Guy:Yebo ntombi enhle
I turn to walk away because something tells me he's dodgy.
Guy:Uyaphi manje?
Me:Uhmmm....
Guy:Woza la awushongo kanti ukuthi ufuna amadrugs?
Me:Yes
He steps out of the car and tells the guys to leave and they do.He opens up his boot and grabs a few tiny plastics of cocaine.
Him:How many do you need baby?
Ewww no...this is so cringe.
Me:Uh...uhm...7 please
Him:Mmm okay
Me:How much will they be altogether?
Him:R 8000
I widen my eyes in shock,haybo!
Me:Cash or card payment?
Him:Anyone
I take out my card and he grabs it,making sure his hand touches mine.What is he doing ?
After paying he discreetly gives me the drugs.As I attempt to walk away he roughly grabs my waist.
Me:Wenzani sbhanxa ndini?
Him:You're so sexy yazi
Me:Ndiyeke!
Him:Angifuni sdula ndini.
He then grabs my neck.Okay now he's taking it too far.I drop the cocaine that I was holding on the floor.I shove my shoulder into his stomach.He groans in pain as I knee his privates.I watch him fall to the ground.I grab the cocaine that's on the ground and as I pick up the last one he trips me to the floor and I hit my head.I feel like screaming because of the pain I'm feeling but I was taught that screaming in dangerous situations is not the way to go.He injects me with something on my neck and I try opening my eyes but heck it's painful.I feel him hovering over me while touching my whole body.
I hear the sound of a belt unbuckling and I start panicking, I can't let him take my virginity after saving it for so many years. I open my eyes through the pain and kick him but it's like he's not feeling anything.After regaining a little strength I push him off me ,yes he's skinny so I'm at an advantage since I'm big.I quickly stand up and take off the shoes I was wearing and hit him with them very hard.I run away towards my car after taking a photo of him and his number plate.
I drive off while breathing heavily.Ten minutes later I feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier and my strength getting weaker and weaker.I stop the car on the side of a clear road as I fall into unconsciousness.

Narrator's POV
Phindile just finished breastfeeding her baby.She keeps on checking the time,worried as the minutes pass by.Where could Amahle be at this time,she said she would be back in a few minutes.It's been an hour now and she can't help but think of the worst.Just to distract herself she starts cooking,with the help of YouTube cooking videos.

Nkosinaye's POV
I don't know why but my beast has been acting up since morning like something wrong was going to happen.Im on my way to go and fetch Hlelo from school when I feel a pinch on my neck.I don't mind it and continue driving until I get a disturbing call from Bab'Mdoni.
**PHONE CONVERSATION **

He groans while burping
Him:Help your chosen one she is close.He is about to take her innocence from her and you need to help her! Find her now!She is in danger....yeyyyy.....yeyyey ! Zulu....bonisani umfana wenu indlela !
I feel like a part of me has switched off.
Me:(panicking)Ukuphi yena?
Him:She's close,very close.Find her before he gets to her again!
He then drops the call.I rush to Hlelo's school and pick her up.
Hlelo:Hello daddy
Me:Hi princess
Hlelo:Let's find uma, I feel like she's in danger.
Me:(shocked)Okay let's go.
So Hlelo is also feeling this way.I close my eyes ...my senses and gut are telling me to drive towards Hillbrow.I do so in great speed and my beast wants to take over the closer we get.I don't allow it though.I feel the hair on my skin growing and I look at Hlelo who's hair is also growing.
Hlelo:Baba let's get out of this car,we are about to shift.
I stop the car and we both get out,our bones shift and before we know it we have become the lion/beast versions of ourselves.We grab our change of clothes and carry them in our mouths.
We run as fast as we can and I see a TSI parked on the side of the road.My inner voice starts chanting,"Mate!,Mate!,Mate!"
I run faster leaving Hlelo behind and I just know that my chosen one is in that car.The weather starts changing and the sky becomes darker and darker.I finally get to the car and shift to my human form.I wear my clothes and look inside.
The image I see will forever be engraved in my mind.My heart skips multiple beats as I see a sleeping goddess right in front of me.She looks so perfect,innocent and her beauty moves me in a way that's so hard to explain.
Me:Mine!
I say as I open the door to get a better view of her,haw ooZulu bangikhethele kahle lapha.Hlelo finally gets here,shifts into her human form,wears her clothes and gets in the car at the back.
Hlelo:Baba nanku uma!
Me:Ngiyambona
Hlelo:Ngikutshelile ukuthi muhle yho.Do you see how her skin glows even though there's no sunlight?
I look at my chosen one and I just stare at her.She is so perfect.Her chubby cheeks,beautiful skin,nice hairstyle and all.I touch her warm hand and I feel an electronic sensation.Lightning strikes outside and I look outside and I see my great guidances(ancestral lions)outside bowing.I smile as I feel her squeeze my hand.
Hlelo:(whispering)Uyavuka baba.
Me:(whispering)Yebo.
After a few moments she opens her eyes and looks around the car.The moment our eyes meet a spark ignites within me,filling my chest with an exhilarating warmth that I had never experienced before.Her smile radiates a kind of joy that is infectious,and I feel an undeniable pull towards her,fate has really conspired to bring me and her together.I have fallen in love wena kaPhunga no Mageba !

I say as I look at my other half.I can't help but admire his strong features and confident demeanor.His skin has a rich and natural tone that could make any girl loose her senses.His smile is captivating,lighting up his face and making my heart skip a beat.His deep dimples that add charisma to his already panty dropping smile.There's just something magnetic about him ;his presence commands attention without even trying.His chiseled jawline and high cheekbones give him a striking appearance,while his expressive unique eyes,that convey depth and intelligence,look right back at mine.I don't think I know what love at first sight means but I think this is it.
Voice:Uhmmm...I'm still here you know.
I know that voice.I turn my head so quick and I get shocked when I see Hlelolenkosi sitting there at the back.
