The girls were gathered on Samantha's house. Once inside, Renata broke up the ominous silence.

"Before anything: This is my grandpa, Hubert. He has a sensitive heart, so please, try to keep the place calm, ok?", Samantha stated while presenting her fatherly figure. "Grandpa, these are my friends, and Rheagan..."

"Thanks for making obvious our relation status, Samantha", Rheagan sighed while accepting the coffee Hubert prepared, and shared with them.

"Mr. Mason, right? First, like your coffee and your place. Second, is Samantha single? Just asking", Renata said, while looking discreetly to the girl with glasses, and a blushed face.

"Renata...I...please, focus. Or you wanna still feel that?", the black hair lady scolded nervously.

Hubert just laugh while seeing Renata. He sipped his beverage while seeing the girls and then he started to explain:

"The 'feeling' you said indeed comes from the same creature. Hauntsmen it's not the name I learned to, but can be translated similarily. As a predator, he watches its preys and starts to look for weaknesses. Don't think it means you're strong. Being selected means you're an easy sustain for that". Drank once more from his cup and then look for the girls. "The fact you're alive so far means it's looking for more food. Once it has enough, the hunt will begin. You'll know once you started to feel an unexplainable fear."

"Is there a way...to stop it?", Leandra asked.

Hubert noded.

"Hauntsmen are relentless. But can be tricked. Maybe a black salt amu-", the old man was saying until he was interrupted by his granddaughter.

"Grandpa...I apologize but...you're telling us that we need a weird salt to be protected from a fantasy creature? I was looking for a solution, a logical one", she shout, while getting up and leaving the group. She went to the terrace, to feel the breeze, while calming herself.

"Nice crib, dear. And I come in peace. Your second name's Peace?", a bleached haired girl appeared waving her hand while getting close to her

"Why you're so...so childish?", Samantha hissed.

"Pretty sure children won't say half my vocabulary without a lot of soap on their mouth...but I'm not the only one with a child attitude. Am I wrong, ms. Skeptical Mason-Luceiro?", the tattooed girl replied.

Samantha saw Renata, and her face was serious. She knew it was time to be honest.

"We're not even...! You know I don't believe that, or any belief that's not logical...because accepting that means accepting the fact that Amelia-", Sam was saying until she felt  pats on her head.

"Sam, I lived in a closed minded religious place...so close that the moment I wore makeup they beat me up...Told me I'll be rotting in hell if I get tattoos...piercings...live differently from the gender I borned ...and pretty sure that will make me a hardhead, but my cousin Lorenzo, who was also framed for being trans, got involved and helped me. And he's a spiritual guy you know? Even has weird some statues on his room. And we are talking about the same guy that went with me on my first pride march, my first meeting with girls like us...he even paid my boobs!", the girl with piercings just stopped and stepped back. "Sorry...I'm just saying that some stuff can not be explained yet...and sometimes hearing the old man that gave you a place to live after your religious mother ditched you for being trans...just let him help, ok? Besides this will give me point with my future father-in-", Renata got interrupted while Samantha hugged her.

"You barely talk about yourself. It's the first time you tell me about your...I never thought you..", the girl with glasses tried to explain.

"They don't deserve my words. And I prefer to be seen as a jester than a victim", Renata said, while accepting Samantha's hug.

"I try to be tough, but all that is happening is overwhelming me...but...I guess leaving him help is way better than leave him out of all this shit...", Samantha stopped hugging after saying this.

"Why you stopped hugging me? I love the feeling your tits and mine...I have a more dark stories from my childhood! I fell once in an ant's nest...and a bug entered my ear once!", Renata was happy, yet had to ruin the moment.

"What? It's not that way...fuck! I almost was convinced to be your GF...geez...", claimed Samantha, quitely upset. "Anyways, let's go back with my grandpa, ok?"

Once both girls went back,  the girl with black hair sat down and began

"I'm sorry about before, grandpa. I asked for your help, so please, help us. Still skeptical but I'll be glad if your black salt amulet help us"

Hubert sadly smiled. And continued.

"The amulet will only give you a few minutes. The black salt properties and ingredients can daze it for a moment", he then stood up and went to the kitchen, looking and grabbing some spices, a mortar and pestle, and continued. "I'll be done in some hours, yet I'll be needing some small jars."

"If that powder helps me to e safe, I'll be back with Ayaka pretty soon. The place I buy my art supplies has that jars for sand art enthusiasts", Leandra said while taking Ayaka's hand. "You'll come with me..."

"But I don't want to...I want to meet Rheagan san...I like her hair and clothes!", Ayaka complained before leaving.

"I...you do have quite an interesting friend, Samantha", the goth girl blushed, while checking her phone. "I will be more than glad to meet that girl deeply. Her green hair even looks amazing. Guess I can ask her for a date."

"Must warn you: Ayaka is quite impulsive, has a lot of energy, most of the time she's on meds due her emotional sensibility...and also communicates mostly with emotes. See?", Samantha warned the blue hair while showing her phone. She noted the moment Rheagan's expression changed to surprise.

"Samantha, that plant's picture...is from my place"
