Monday

I wake up actually on time today, so I get in the shower and think about the plan for today. I'm going to ask Ms. Romano out. Now am I terrified of rejection? Of course I am, who isn't. But I'm confident enough from the encouragement of my grandparents and friends that she might like me back and is only keeping things student teacher friendly because she's scared that feeling of getting caught. So all I have to do is convince her enough that we won't and hopefully she'll atleast give me a chance.

I get out the shower and put on my outfit for the day. It's monday so I know we're going to have practice so I put on an all black Nike track suit with a hood. I put on my white beanie and my Panda Nike Dunks. I moisturize my face and check if any more spots popped up and a little patch on my forehead is coming. Honk! I grab my phone and head out to Mairas car. "Hey babe!" She yells as I get in the passenger seat.

I smile hugging across the console. "Hey. How was your weekend officially in a relationship?" I ask her and she blushes.

"Honestly I thought I'd be completely bored but Talia," she swoons. "He's amazing. Yeah we've been bestfriend like since forever but I don't know it just seems so different when he's giving me all his attention. It's nice, it's comforting."

I smile. "Good. That's exactly what you needed to get out of your hoe phase."

Her mouth flies open. "I thought we weren't judging?!"

I chuckle. "I wasn't while you were doing it. But that boy has been after you since I could remember. I'm just glad you finally embraced him before he exploded of emotions." We laugh and she continues to drive.

We make it to the school and Lucas is standing by her parking spot smiling already. God this is too cute for me. "Baby!!" She basically squeals as she gets out the car and runs to him.

"So we're going to pretend you didn't just see each other yesterday?" I say and I furrow my brows when I look in the car.

"When you and Ms. Hottie get together you'll understand." I continue looking in the car. "What's wrong?" She asks.

"Um did I not bring my book bag?" She shakes her head and I groan. "Great! Nice fucking start!"

"What's wrong with not having your bag?"

I sigh. "Good morning you three." Her voice comes close and I mentally slap myself. The one time I actually don't want to see her.

"Hi Ms. Romano. It's officially week two of having us as students. How are we doing?" Lucas asks with his arm around Mairas shoulder.

She hums. "Well depends. Do you have my homework from Friday?" She asks and this is why it's a big deal.

"I will not start off our relationship with lies Ms. Romano. So I won't answer that question and just say you look rather beautiful today." He says and we snicker.

"Mhmm how about you Ms. Kingston," I look at her. "Do you have my homework?"

I swallow. "Uh I did." She raises a brow.

"Remember my policy. It's due once you come into class." She says and I nod and she shakes her head and walks away.

We watch her walk and I sigh. "And you think she doesn't have the hots for you?" Lucas asks and I scoff.

"Definitely not now." I say and they pat my back in consolation way. I spend all first class trying to complete, Ms. Romanos homework. I see a hand come to grab it and I go to snatch it back but it's too late and in Mr. Jackson's hands. "Sir please I need that."

"You should've completed it at home and not my classroom. Detention." My mouth flies open.

"You can't be serious?!" I yell.
