Tyson got back early this morning and to say I completely dissected the house to ensure nothing was left by Verena, you'd think I was a fucking detective in this bitch. I got dressed in a blue Nike hooded tracksuit and my white air forces with my blue beanie.

I'm cooking breakfast right now since he just got in and is tired. "Yo." He says in a tired voice coming in the kitchen with his robe and pajama pants, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh hey. Did I wake you?" I ask him and he shakes his head as he sits at the island.

"Nah the time change is just getting to me so I just figured I'd come down real quick then I smelt food." He says and I smile as I plate his food.

"It's a 'welcome home I missed you' breakfast." I say and he hums and starts chewing down.

"Or is it a 'I'm trying to distract you from the big bruise and busted lip on my face' breakfast?" He asks with an amusement.

I sigh. "It's nothing Ty." I say and he raises a brow.

"Someone bullying you? Because I'll beat a kids ass no problem." He says and I chuckle shaking my head.

"Yeah I'm sure but nah i just tripped hard leaving the dance Saturday. The punch was spiked so I was not in my right mind." I lie hating every part of it.

He tilts his head. "Yeah I'm sure. But look Talia. You're my sister and I love you. If something is going on, you can tell me." He says and I nod.

"Yeah I know. But you did ask me of something when we went to our grandparents." He raises his brow as he eats. "I uh I have a girlfriend." I say excited to let him atleast know something positive is going on in my life.

His eyes light up. "Really?" I nod smiling brightly. "It must be serious for you to tell me."

"It is. We said we love each other Saturday."

"She goes to your school?"

"Uh sorta. She's around sometimes she's older." I say and he nods.

"Aye that's my sis." He says proudly. "So when do I get to meet her?"

"Uh probably later on. I don't want to jinx it by inviting her to meet you then she never wants to see me again." I joke and he laughs.

"Whatever. But look if she's still around after Christmas, no exceptions. Yeah?" I nod still smiling. We eat together and then he drives me to school with me excited to see my girlfriend, who I love, and who loves me.

I get out the car and see Maira and Lucas standing by her car talking. "What up guys?" I call out walking up to them. They turn and their eyes go wide at my face.

"Yo what happened?" Lucas asks as Maira inspects my face carefully.

"I uh fell." I say and they give me a knowing look and I roll my eyes. "I got grabbed by- someone Saturday after the dance."

"What?!" Maira exclaims. "Did you report them?"

I shake my head. "I didn't see their face. And it was dark so there was no point. I'm fine through." I say and they give me a worried look but I smile. "Guys I'm fine. I'm more than great."

"What's so great about getting your ass beat?" Lucas asks and I scoff.

"I uh-I told Verena I loved her and she said it back." I say and their eyes light up.

"What?!" They exclaim and hug me when I nod happily. "I'm so happy for you Talia! Oh my god this is great! We can go on double dates out of town! And plan holiday trips!" Maira starts planning in her mind excitedly as I look to my left to see Verena pulling in.
