Too Many Chances

I make it out after taking a shower and see everyone enjoying themselves. Lucas and Maira are in the pool with the girl Kate and her other friends and Verena is laying on the pool side chair along with Chase who is talking to her on another chair. "Hey." I say walking up and I feel hot under her stare that's eyeing me in thigh length black swim trunks and my white sports bra.

"Hey. We were just talking about this beach spot I used to go to when I lived here. Apparently Chase is a professional surfer." She says.

I look at Chase who is looking at Verena. "That's pretty cool." I say making his eyes fall off her and onto me. "Might have to see you shred in person." I say and he nods with a slight smile. I sit on the chair she's laying on and glide my hand up from her calf up to her thighs and her hand caresses up on my arm as it moves higher and lower. I see Chase get up after a while of us not giving him any attention.

"Were you jealous baby?" She asks with a slight smirk and I shake my head.

"Jealous for what? You're mine." I say confidently and she smiles. "Right?" I ask sliding my hand up her body making her shiver and wrapping it around the front of her neck pulling her up and her eyes lower. "Right baby?"

She nods. "Yes daddy. I'm yours." She says low and I smirk and peck her lips and then lower her back down and let her go.

"Good. Now I'm gonna go swim." She nods and I get up and get in the pool by diving in at the deep end.

"Whoah that was an amazing Superman dive." A tanned skin girl with light hazel eyes and long black curly hair says as she sits in the edge of the pool when I come up.

I smile and wipe my face. "Oh thanks."

"You swim professionally?" She asks and I shake my head.

"No my brother just made sure I knew how to swim, ya know, in case a tsunami hits one day." I joke and she laughs with all her teeth showing.

"That's similar to what my mom did for me. But I'm from Florida so our biggest fear is hurricanes." She says and I laugh nodding. "Where are you from?"

"Uh Georgia actually."

Her brows shit up. "Oh hey neighbor." She says and I chuckle. "Kate says you guys are coming from Colorado, that's a big difference from here I have to believe."

I nod. "It is. But I'm falling in love with California for sure." I say honestly and she nods smiling slightly.

"Well if you ever plan to move here I can be a great tour guide." She says and I go to agree to a tour until I see Verena sitting down next to her and all my attention goes to my gorgeous girlfriend.

"Hey baby. You getting in?" I ask and she shakes her ahead and then looks at the girl whose name I hadn't got.

"Baby?" The girl says and Verena nods with a slight smile. "Oh I am so sorry. I had no idea. No disrespect." She says to Verena and she nods again which I guess was a way of dismissing the girl because she immediately got up sending me an apologetic look, for what I have no idea.

Verena looks back at me. "Trying to make me jealous now?" She asks and I tilt my head as I tread the water. "Don't give me that."

"Baby what are you talking about?"

She scoffs. "She was flirting with you Talia. 'I'll be your tour guide'? Seriously?" She says and I think and realization hits.

"Oh baby I didn't realize because I didn't care. I only have eyes for you." I say and swim up to her and kiss on her legs as she puts her hands on the side of my neck. "Get in baby."
