Adeline's POV*

The sunlight filtered gently through the motel curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. I lay in bed, still trying to process the conversation Titus and I had earlier. My head was clearer, but my heart was still a jumble of emotions.

I watched Titus as he stretched and yawned, his energy seeming boundless despite the early hour. He was already up and moving around the room with a sense of purpose. I felt a flutter of anticipation and nervousness as I saw him begin to gather his things.

"Morning," he said with a bright smile. "We've got a bit of an adventure planned for today."

I blinked in confusion. "Adventure?"

Titus nodded enthusiastically. "Yep. I want to show you something. But first, you need to get dressed in your riding gear."

I stared at him, my curiosity piqued. "Riding gear? Where are we going?"

He grinned mischievously. "You'll find out soon enough. Just trust me."

With that, he handed me a set of gear and began to get ready himself. I quickly changed into the gear, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. The padded suit felt strange but secure, and I tried to shake off my unease.

Once I was dressed, Titus led me outside to his car. He opened the door for me with a flourish, and I slid into the passenger seat. As we drove, my heart pounded with a mixture of anxiety and anticipation. I was about to enter the pack house, a place I had only heard about but never seen. The thought of it made my stomach churn, and I clutched the seatbelt tightly, trying to calm my racing thoughts.

Titus drove with his usual confidence, chatting animatedly about the day ahead. I listened, trying to absorb his excitement despite my nerves. As we approached a large, impressive building, I realized it was the pack house. It loomed ahead, a symbol of the pack's power and Titus's position as its alpha.

When we arrived, Titus led me inside, his hand resting gently on my lower back. The interior of the pack house was as grand as I had imagined, with its expansive hallways and regal decor. We walked through the house, my nerves on edge as I tried to take in the surroundings.

Titus guided me to a door and opened it, revealing a comfortable room that looked like it belonged to him. "This is my room," he said. "I need to shower and change. You can wait here."

I nodded, feeling a bit like a fish out of water. "Alright."

He gave me a reassuring smile before disappearing into the bathroom. I stood in the room, trying to steady my breathing. The pack house felt both intimidating and intriguing, and I knew this was a significant step in our journey together.

I paced a bit, my thoughts racing. Titus had promised a long bike ride, and the idea of being alone with him on the open road was both thrilling and slightly overwhelming. I wanted to enjoy the experience but couldn't help feeling anxious about the significance of this outing.

When Titus emerged from the bathroom, he looked refreshed and ready to go. He was dressed in casual, comfortable clothes, and his energy was palpable. "Ready for our ride?" he asked with a grin.

I nodded, trying to mask my nervousness with a smile. "Yeah, let's do it."

Titus led me back to the front of the pack house, where his motorcycle awaited. He helped me put on my helmet and made sure everything was secure. As we climbed onto the bike, I felt a surge of excitement mixed with my anxiety. The roar of the engine filled the air, and Titus's enthusiasm was infectious.

With a gentle nudge, he started the bike and we were off. The wind rushed past us, and I felt a sense of freedom that was both exhilarating and calming. The rhythmic hum of the engine and the scenery blurring by helped to ease some of my anxiety. I glanced at Titus, who seemed completely in his element, and I felt a small, reassuring smile tug at my lips.

As we rode, the world outside the pack house seemed to fall away, leaving just the two of us and the open road. The adventure was just beginning, and despite my nerves, I was eager to embrace whatever lay ahead with Titus by my side.
