I woke up to a sore throat and a heavy headache. I was literally locked in a storeroom for hours in the icy cold. No doubt, I caught cold. I walked into the drawing room and found Grandma at the table, having her breakfast.

"Good morning, darling!" I said grabbing a glass and she put her attention on me.

"Morning! How are you feeling now?"

"I’ve caught a cold but still I'm better now," I said, pouring myself a glass of water.

"Yeah, of course, you would," she replied taking a sip of juice, her grin widening into something almost mischievous.

I narrowed my eyes, suspicious while gulping some water. "Why are you grinning like that?"

"Oh, nothing," she said airily. "I was just wondering when you two are going to announce your relationship publicly."

I choked on my water."Grandma? Seriously?!"

"I know he helped me yesterday, but that doesn’t mean we’re a thing," I said emphasising the 'he'. We both know who 'he' is.

"Right," she said, hardly convinced. "It’s not like I saw him cupping your cheeks or hugging you like his life depended on it,"she said without looking at me, casually eating while I froze here.

"Maybe it was just your teddy that you kept snuggling with, who kept you warm the entire evening and didn't leave until 9,right?" she continued, unfazed, while I was praying the ground would open up and swallow me whole.

"You should be happy that I didn’t get a heart attack or something. Because the sight was too adorable for me to witness. Right Estella?"she added and glanced at the white furball sitting under the table with her three babies and this cat meowed in agreement from under the table.

"I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!" I yelled, my cheeks burning as I dashed back to my room, with a racing heart.

Why does she have to tease me like that??! I was dying last night!!

But actually it was pretty much unexpected. I didn't think he would actually stay with me until my body temperature was back to normal. I was too numb to react to his embrace yesterday. But now, as the memory came rushing back in my mind, I can feel it—his warmth, his touch. A shiver ran through me spreading like wildfire. I've never felt so safe with a man before. He's so different, so down to earth. It's hard to believe that a man like him exists.

A smile spread on my lips just at the thought of him."Such a sweetheart."

Just then, my phone tinged indicating a got a text notification. I checked it and it was Joonha.
