YOUR POV

After finishing my work, I simply headed out of the building when a woman bumped into me with unexpected force, nearly knocking me off balance. She spun around, her eyes narrowing into a fierce glare. The woman looks young, probably in her early twenties. She is dressed in a sharp, formal grey suit with an ID card hanging around her neck and a phone pressed against her ear. Must be an employee here.

"Don't you have eyes?! Where are you looking while walking, huh?" she snapped at me, though she was clearly the one at fault.

"Sorry, ma'am? You're mistaken. I was very much aware of where I was going. We have accidentally crossed paths and I didn't perposely bump into you. But I still apologize if it caused you any inconvenience," I replied as politely as I could manage and bowed to her.

The woman scoffed and pushed her phone in her grey trouser's pocket, stepping even closer, her sharp eyes locking onto mine. "I'm mistaken, huh? Like the whole blame is mine? And now you're gonna act all innocent with your little apology?"

The heck! Why is this lady so rude? I have zero interest in bumping into her. She's not Kim Taehyung!

"No, it's not like th-"

"How dare you argue with me like that?!" She growled cutting me off. "Such an uneducated, mannerless girl you are! I don't think you've even graduated high school,"she added.

I stood there, stunned by her sudden outburst. I could feel the curious gazes of passersby enjoying the unexpected drama unfolding before them.

"Never ever try to talk back with me. If you do, I'll throw you outta here and you'll never be able to step a foot here again. So, be in your limits, you delivery girl!"

I stood there dumbfounded, not knowing what to say. Never in my whole life I ever imagined that someone might humiliate me like this one day.

"You're the one who's crossing limits, Mrs.Cheon," a familiar manly voice cut through the tension. I turned and saw Jungkook standing at the entrance, his hands casually resting in his jeans pockets and a flicker of anger darkening his gaze. He walked over and stood beside me. His gaze fixed on the woman in front of us.

"Mrs. Cheon," he began firmly, "you have no right to look down on someone just because they may not have a high profile or the kind of education you think is necessary. Respect is not a privilege reserved for a select few. Everyone deserves it, regardless of their position or status."

Mrs. Cheon's face flushed with anger, "She's not respectful to her elders either. She was continuously arguing with me," she complained concealing her own fault.

Jungkook turned his attention to me, his expression softening slightly. "Yn, what happened here?"

"She collided with me while hurrily walking into the building. And despite it being her fault, she blamed me. I even apologized, though I had no reason to. I swear, I'm not lying. You can check the CCTV if you don't believe me," I explained the situation, trying to keep my voice steady despite feeling the urge to cry.

He nodded, then shifted his gaze back to Mrs. Cheon. "You need to be more patient and considerate, Mrs. Cheon," he said, his tone firm yet calm. "Misbehaving like this over something so small is unacceptable. Whether it's here at work or anywhere else, what happended could have been easily ignored, then why make such a scene? If you continue acting this way then........ maybe you're the one who'll get kicked out of here."

Gasps rippled through the small crowd of onlookers, they started whispering among themselves.

"He just didn't say that!"
