[At Golden Crust Bakery]

AUTHOR'S POV

Yn sat at the table counter in her cozy bakery, the soft glow of the fairy lights draped over the Christmas tree, each flickering bulb casting a warm, festive light on the shop. Her eyes drawn outside, watching the beautiful snowfall.

Every snowfall reminded her of the serene moment of the first snowfall of the year, which is etched in her heart.

Just then, the soft chime of the doorbell snapped her back to the present.

"Happy birthday, dear lady boss! Lots of love and well wishes for you on your 20th birthday!" Joonha greeted, walking in with a radiant smile that instantly brightened the room.

Yn's face instantly lit up at his words. "Aww! Thank you, dear friend!" she beamed.

Joonha walked closer and wrapped her in a friendly hug before stepping back with a playful glint in his eyes. "So, when's the party?"

Yn chuckled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Well, I was thinking of having a BBQ dinner in my backyard tonight."

Joonha gasped pretending to be offened. "And you didn't tell me? Am I not invited?"

Yn rolled her eyes, stifling a laugh. "Come on, Joon. I was about to. And yes, of course you're invited. Don't forget to bring your guitar, okay?"

"Yes, boss!" He stood at attention, like a soldier standing in front of his superior making Yn giggle.

With a grin, Joonha reached into his grey overcoat, pulling out a small box. "And actually, I came here to give you your birthday present."

He opened the box, revealing a small deep blue heart shaped pendant glimmering in the soft light.

"Wow! It's beautiful!" she exclaimed, accepting the gift with a bright smile.

"I'm glad you like it," Joonha said, satisfaction evident in his voice. But then his gaze drifted to the pendant already hanging from Yn's neck, which looks quite similar but definitely much more expensive than the one she used to wear.

"I literally got two beautiful pendants this birthday. And both are so pretty!" she exclaimed excited.

"May I ask who gave you the other one?" he inquired, curious.

"Jeon-ssi gave it to me on thanksgiving day," Yn replied, her fingers lightly touching the one on her neck. "This one."

Joonha's eyes lingered on the pendant for a moment, a flicker of something unspoken passing through him. He wondered why would Jungkook give her such an expensive present just like that.

"Ah, it's lovely," he said casually, hiding the burning sensation he felt in his heart.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I drove towards the bakery tightening my grip on the steering wheel, weaving through the steady flow of traffic. The tires screeching slightly as they hit the heavy snow blanketing the streets of Seoul. The air is cold, biting at my skin through the slightly opened car window. It feels good to be back in Seoul after a two weeks long vacation at my hometown- a vacation I hadn't realized I needed so much. The time spent with family, old friends, and the familiar comfort of home had given me space to breathe.
