Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 17

The next morning, Isabella wakes up at five thirty, and she wasn't expecting Kelsey to be right next to her. She thought she would've went home, but then she remembered that she didn't bring her car. Isabella gets up from bed and decided to go for a run. Though she didn't know the area very well, she figured she could use landmarks to remember her way back. She got ready and did a short and easy eight miles. When she got back, Kelsey was up and holding Zaida as she made her daily smoothie. Isabella couldn't help but chuckle. "What? She wanted to be held, and I couldn't say no to her." Kelsey said.

"You're ridiculous," Isabella said with a chuckle. She took off her shoes and decided to give Kelsey a kiss before she took a shower. However, before Isabella could, Zaida put her paw on Isabella and pushed her away. "Zaida, I know I'm sweaty, but I would like to give my girlfriend a kiss." Isabella said and quickly kissed Kelsey's cheek before Zaida meowed and pushed Isabella away again with her paw.

"Did you go for a run?" Kelsey asked.

"Yeah, but now I have to get ready for something." Isabella said.

"Oh? What is that?" Kelsey asked.

"It's a secret. I just don't want to jinx myself." Isabella said.

"Okay, well I can't wait to hear about what this mystery is," Kelsey said. Isabella smiled and went to her room to get everything she needed. She then went to the shower and did an everything shower since she had the time to. After getting out, she did her skincare, and then put a leave in conditioner in her hair and a heat protectant spray before blow drying her hair. She puts on light makeup and then puts on her clothes. Her outfit was black dress pants with a belt, a white tank top and blue blouse tucked in, and black boots with a two inch heel. She walks out of the bathroom, and Kelsey couldn't stop staring at her. "Damn!" Kelsey said. Isabella smiled and blushed.

"Did you want me to drop you off at your house? I may be a while." Isabella asked.

"Yes, but I will need to come back, or you come over to my house after whatever you're going to." Kelsey said.

"Why's that?" Isabella asked.

"Because you're looking real fine right now, and I never got to properly welcome you to Vegas." Kelsey said.

"What do you- ohhhh. You haven't, have you?" Isabella asked with a smirk.

"I haven't." Kelsey said, looking Isabella up and down.

"Keep looking at me like that, and we'll never leave." Isabella said.

"We don't have to." Kelsey said and kissed Isabella. Isabella kissed back before pulling away.

"I think it'll be more fun making you wait," Isabella said with a smirk. "For real though, if we don't leave now, then I will be late." Isabella said. Kelsey got her shoes on, and they went to Isabella's car. Kelsey gave Isabella directions to her house, and 10 minutes later they get to her house.

"Good luck with whatever it is you're about to do. I know you'll do great!" Kelsey said with a smile.

"Thank you!" Isabella said and gave Kelsey a kiss.

"Drive safe, and I love you!" Kelsey said.

"I will, and I love you too!" Isabella said. Kelsey got out, and Isabella put in the directions to the Las Vegas Police Department. She drove there and arrived 15 minutes early. She was there for two hours before she was able to leave. She realized after an hour of being at the department that she forgot to eat, so she found a place close by that had açaí bowls. She picked one up and ate it before going to Kelsey's house. She knocked, and when Kelsey answered it, Kelsey pulled Isabella in and kissed her. They didn't waste any time, and an hour later they were taking a shower. Isabella borrowed some of Kelsey's clothes, and they lounged on her couch while trying to decide what to watch.
