Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 12

When Isabella got back to Columbus, she thought she saw JJ again standing by her car, so she went back inside to get a security guard to walk her to her car. When she walked out with the guard and got closer to her car, no one was there. She thanked the guard anyway and left. As she was driving, she noticed a car that had been following her for about 10 minutes, so she turned on a random road. The car was a few cars behind her, so it was noticeable when it followed her onto the road. Isabella couldn't see who it was, but she went to the police station. The car pulled in and drove right past her. She caught a glimpse of the face, and it was JJ. Isabella didn't know how JJ knew where she was, but she went inside the police station with a panicked look on her face. "Are you okay?" a female officer asked.

"I think I'm being followed by my ex." Isabella said.

"Okay. Let's go to my office and talk more there." the officer said. They went to her officer, and Isabella was glad that she had a front and rear dash cam. She showed the video, and luckily the plate was caught and the face. It was, in fact, JJ, so Isabella decided to get a restraining order put against her. She thanked the officer and walked out to her car. She went home and messaged Kelsey what had happened. Kelsey called her to make sure she's okay.

"I'm fine. Just a little shaken up." Isabella said.

"I wish I was with you. I would've given her a piece of my mind if she approached you." Kelsey said.

"I know you would've. I also probably would've had to bail you out of jail. But if she is within 500 feet of me, then she will be arrested." Isabella said.

"Good. And you're not wrong." Kelsey said. They talked for a little bit longer before Isabella had to get to sleep.

~September 6~

Ilona was on her way to visit Isabella. Isabella was so excited to see Ilona again. Though they had only met a little over a month ago, they were like long distance best friends. After Isabella clocked out of her shift at the pizza shop, she went straight to the airport to pick up Ilona. She took off her uniform shirt since she had a shirt on under it and went in. She waited about 15 minutes before she saw her. She started jumping , and they both ran to each other. They jumped as they hugged each other. "I missed you!" Isabella said.

"I missed you too! How have you been?" Ilona asked as they walked out to Isabella's car.

"I've been okay. I don't think I told you, but I had a restraining order against my ex, and not even a week later she broke it and ended up getting arrested." Isabella said.

"Yeah you definitely failed to mention that. How did Kelsey react to that?" Ilona asked.

"She was happy that she got arrested." Isabella said.

"I bet. Speaking of, how are you and Kelsey doing? I saw that you visited her for her birthday!" Ilona said. Isabella blushed.

"We are doing good. I did visit her. The entire Aces team helped me surprise her. There were a couple times where they were helping me hide that I was worried she saw me because she was very close by. But she didn't, and her reaction to seeing me was priceless. There's a video I can show you that Kate took that shows her reaction." Isabella said.

"Yes please! That was nice of them to help you." Ilona said.

"Yeah." Isabella said, and they went to Isabella's car and went to her house.

"Oh my goodness! You're so handsome!" Ilona said as Caspian walked up to her. He was looking much better, and his fur was mostly grown back.

"He's a snuggle bug, so he'll probably lay with you. Same with Paisley. Zaida, well, the only person she's ever snuggled with other than me is Kelsey. But the only person she'll let pick her up is Kelsey. So, in other words, I wouldn't try to pick her up. Just give her a few pets." Isabella said.
