Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 15

~September 29~

"Today's really your last day?" Lilith asked Isabella.

"Yeah. I still have a lot to pack, and then I have to figure out how I'm going to get everything to Vegas." Isabella answered.

"If you need any help, Damien and I both have a truck. We could help you move some of the bigger things." Lilith said.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it. I may take you up on the offer." Isabella said. Isabella was tempted to slack off for the rest of her workday, but her coworkers didn't deserve that, so she did as much work as she usually would before getting off of work. When getting home, she was on alert because there was a light on. Then she sees Kelsey walk out of the kitchen and greet her.

"Hey babe!" Kelsey said with a smile.

"Goodness Kelsey! I was ready to attack whoever was in here." Isabella said.

"I messaged you saying that I was here." Kelsey said. Isabella looked at her with a confused look.

"I never got a message." Isabella said.

"I swear I messaged you. I'll show you," Kelsey said. She got out her phone and went to her messages with Isabella. "Oh! Haha, I forgot to hit send." Kelsey said with a chuckle. She hit send, and Isabella's phone vibrated. Isabella laughed and looked at her phone.

"Thanks for the heads up, babes." Isabella said.

"Of course." Kelsey said with a smile. Kelsey helped Isabella finish up packing, and just as they were finishing up the last box, there a knock before the door opened. Isabella knew it was Lilith by the knock. When Lilith walked in, she was crying.

"What's wrong?" Isabella asked as she walked over to Lilith and hugged her.

"Damien. He-" she couldn't finish her sentence. She was crying too much to be able to speak. But Isabella thinks she knows what she's hinting at.

"Did he cheat on you?" Isabella asked. Lilith nodded her head. Lilith stopped her tears and told Isabella what exactly happened. Isabella was fuming. "Kelsey, I hope you have bail money." Isabella said, looking at Kelsey.

"Girl we're both going to need bail money." Kelsey said. Isabella looked at Lilith.

"Lilith, Kelsey and I will be back." Isabella said.

"Don't." Lilith said.

"We're just going to have a chat with Damien." Isabella said.

"He doesn't deserve that. He just didn't love me anymore." Lilith said.

"Well he should've just broken up with you. Not do all of that and not even tell you." Isabella said.

"Can I stay here for the night? I can't go home because he's still there." Lilith said.

"Of course you can stay here. In fact, let Susan know you won't be in to work the next week because you're going to Vegas with me to help me move. And sight see." Isabella said.

"Okay." Lilith said with a sniffle and messaged the owner of the coffee shop. Of course, Susan wasn't happy with the short notice, but Lilith put the notifications from her on mute so she didn't have to see her name pop up.

Lilith ended up falling asleep on the couch shortly after sitting down. "I'll be right back. There's something out back that I forgot." Isabella said to Kelsey. Kelsey nodded her head, and Lilith went out back to the barn and grabbed some pictures she had of her with Sergio and Buttercup. Then she decided to post a video to her Snapchat story of just her close friends.
