"Okay, so looking at the clothes you've brought, I think this dress would be really cute with these sandals." Elisabeth said. She pulled out a flowy, lavender summer dress that went down to just above Isabella's knees. It has a deep v neck, ties in the back, and is a halter top.
"You guys realize this isn't a date, right?" Isabella said.
"Riiight. Even if she asks, just say you needed a reason to wear the dress." Elisabeth said.
"I guess." Isabella said.
"What time is she picking you up?" Caroline asked.
"In about 30 minutes." Isabella said.
"Okay. Liz, I'm going to need you to use a straightener to curl her hair and create waves while I do her makeup." Caroline said. Liz nodded and plugged in a straightener. Isabella sat down in a chair with her phone nearby just in case she received any messages. Caroline used makeup remover to remove what Isabella had on from earlier in the day. Then she put on some moisturizer and primer. Instead of using foundation, she used a bb cream Isabella had to make the look more natural. She applied concealer, bronzer, blush, a tiny bit of setting powder where the concealer was applied, nude eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, a color changing lip oil, eyebrow gel and used an eyebrow pencil to fill in her brows, and setting spray. While she did the makeup, Liz applied heat protectant spray and used a straightener to create beach waves. Isabella then took a couple Bobby pins and did a half up half down look with her hair. Once they were done, Liz and Caroline left so Isabella could get changed. Because the dress is practically backless beside the string that ties in the back, Isabella had to wear a sticky bra instead of a regular one.
After changing, Isabella walked to the door and let them know that they can come back in. When they do, they gush at how beautiful she looked. "I need to get to the gates and meet her there." Isabella said as she put on her sandals.
"Wait, you have to take a picture!" Caroline said. Isabella used the full length mirror in their room to take a picture. She went to Instagram and posted it.
I can be girly too💅🏼🎀
She put her phone in her little bag that was big enough to fit just her phone, wallet, and lanyard she needed to get in and out of the village. She put her lanyard on and walked out and over to the front gate. She was let out by a guard, and she looked to her right and saw Kelsey. "Hey!" Isabella said with a smile. Kelsey turned around and was taken back by how beautiful Isabella looked.
"Wow! You look stunning." Kelsey said.
"Hardly, but thank you. And I'm sorry if it's a bit much. Liz insisted that I wear this dress since I have yet to wear it. She told me to tell you that I just needed a reason to wear it, but don't tell her I didn't tell you that." Isabella said, causing Kelsey to giggle.
"Don't worry, your secret's safe with me." Kelsey said.
"I love your outfit, by the way. You look beautiful, as always." Isabella said. Kelsey was wearing a pair of jeans, a white shirt, black leather jacket, and a pair of black boots.
"Thank you. Shall we go?" Kelsey asked, holding out her right hand. Isabella took it, and they began walking with Kelsey closest to the street.
"So where are we going?" Isabella asked.
"Well, I figured we would go to the Eiffel Tower and see the city from the platform. Then we could walk around and see where the adventure takes us." Kelsey answered.
"Sounds like a plan." Isabella said.
"So what do you do you outside of equestrian?" Kelsey asked.
"Well, when I'm not training, I work two part-time jobs, I'm a full-time online student, and I also am involved in community band and my church's handbell ensemble and choir." Isabella said.
