A/n: theres a lot going on so try to stick with me for this chapter.
3rd person pov:
Horikita found Sudo near the lockers with his fists clenched in frustration as he leaned up against the cold metal lockers. His eyes were burning with anger.
"You can't keep hiding there," Horikita said bluntly as she walked up to him. "We need to get you back on the field before the break ends."
Sudo scoffed at Horikita and kept his head down, "What is the point, I dont fit in with class D I feel like a failure. Im just a guy with a hot temper."
Horikita's voice however still remained cold. "You are talented in sports Sudo. You're wasting that talent the moment you let your emotions control you. In this state, you are nothing more than a liability."
He reacted with his fists tightening even more, but kept quiet. He knew she was right. Sudo stormed off leaving Horikita standing there. "I will wait till you comeback" she said. She was unwilling to give up even though her patience was wearing thin

On the Field
Ayanokoji was standing by Kushida. His voice was flat and unemotional. "You leaked our classes roster."
Kushida's expression remained calm however. "What are you talking about?"
"I saw you taking pictures of the roster" Ayanokoji began. "We were specifically told not to take pictures of the roster. Everything happening right now is not pure coincidence, it is because there is a traitor."
Kushida looked at Ayanokoji with curiosity, the smile she had before slowly leaving her lips "If you knew there was a traitor, then why did you stay quiet?"
"As long as there is a traitor, there would be no point in changing the roster. Anyone could simply check the form again" Ayanokoji explained calmly.
"However you would not need to check the roster again because you would of already had a picture. So there would be no reason to."
Kushida laughed softly and said, "I must say you are sharper than you look Ayanokoji. Yes I am infact the traitor. Now that you know that, maybe I should try to get your dear y/n expelled too." She leaned in closer, her voice lowering to a mere whisper. "Since you care so much about Horikita and Y/n"
Sudo returned to the field shortly after, his shoulders less tense but still holding onto some of his earlier frustration. "Sorry for being immature and rude earlier," he mumbled, looking at anyone but at Horikita. Before anyone could respond, one of the boys supposed to race limped forward, clutching his ankle.
"I twisted it pretty bad," he said, wincing it a bit. "I don't think I can run."
Ayanokoji, raised his hand. "I'll take his place."
The others, especially Y/N, turned to him in surprise. It was unlike Ayanokoji to willingly participate for something like this. Y/N's eyes drifted over to Karuizawa, noticing her usual over-the-top reaction, but she kept her thoughts to herself. Horikita, however, was quick to speak.
"I can't participate either," she said, her voice flat as she glanced at her injured ankle.
Y/N, driven more by a mixture of spite and competitiveness than anything else towards Ayanokoji, stepped forward. "I'll take your place."
The competitors lined up on the track. The atmosphere was tense. Ayanokoji stood beside the student council president, his usual nonchalant demeanor in place. "I'll indulge you in a race," he said quietly, almost as if to himself. "Maybe you'll get to see what kind of person I am. Since you are so curious about me"
Horikita's brother smirked, his grip tightening on the baton. When the race began, Y/n tossed her baton to Ayanokoji, but instead of dropping out, she matched his pace, running alongside him and the student council president. The three of them moved in perfect unison, flying past the other runners with ease.
To Y/N's surprise, she was keeping up with Ayanokoji exactly, their speeds matching to the dot. However, the student council president surged ahead in the final moments, crossing the finish line first. There was no reason for y/n to continue the run, but it did not affect the class whatsoever points was.

Back in class the results were then handed out. The room was bussing with different conversations about the event. Karuizawa commented, "I had no idea you were that fast Ayanokoji!"
Y/n was flickering with annoyance in her words. Sure Ayanokoji was fast, but running that quickly was for more impressive since she is a girl. However Y/n did this on her own accord. She pushed her thoughts aside because it was not worth getting upset over it
Later that day, Y/n found herself in an alleyway that was dimly lit on campus, facing Kushida and Ryuen. The tension between everyone crackled like electricity in the air. Y/n crossed her arms facing them.
"Drop the act, Kushida." she said as she locked eyes with her. "You are the traitor, and we both know it. How long do you plan to keep this going. How long until you finally get Horikita expelled. I will admit I did not care; however, it is becoming a nuisance to me."
Kushida's smile did not waver, but Ryuen chuckled a bit. "You're pretty sharp arent you Y/n" he said with his eyes glinting with amusement. "But everything today was all fake too."
Y/n's lips curled into a knowing smile as she pulled out her phone showing that she recorded everything from the beginning. "You really think so, dragon boy?"
Without hesitation, Ryuen pulled out his phone, displaying that he too was recording "Everything I said was all part of a hypothetical situation. What's your move now Y/n?"
Y/n's smile did not falter "I am not interested in blackmail anymore. I have decided that I will be the one to take down Ayanokoji and if you or Kushida get in my way. I will make sure you both get expelled first."
Y/n sends another recording to Ryuen of him admitting the plan to sabotage Class C from the very beginning and then walks away and leaves them in awe.
