Alec's POV:

"Uhh... So exhausted!" I groaned as I slumped down on the table.
"Looks like someone got popular," Caleb smirked.
"Shut up!" I groaned, looking at him, annoyed.
Many of my classmates in different periods wanted to pet me.
It was so exhausting and embarrassing.
My social, mental, and physical battery is close to being drained.
"What's the next class." I moaned with exhaustion.
"It's Biology; you are in the same class as my next period," James said as he ate his lunch.

"Hello, can we pet you?" someone said mockingly.
I glared at the person who said that.
It was Noah who was carrying his lunch tray.
Chase also accompanied him while waving his red fade.
"Fuck off!" I groaned.
I then felt rough pats on my head.
"Ouch, don't give me a noogie!" I yelled
Noah's eyes rolled.
"Let him be," Chase said, directing his words to Noah.

I then noticed that Blake wasn't accompanying them.
"Where's Blake?" I asked.
"Blake?" Chase asked, "Why are you asking about him?"
"Oh... it's just that I see him with the two of you most of the time?" I said.
"Well... he told us that Zack had to borrow him for a moment," Noah said, "Or was it the other way around?"
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"Something happened between them last night after you went to bed." Chase added, "They had a fight or something."
"What was it about?" I asked.
"Dunno?" Noah bluntly said.
[I hear a special coming up >:o - Izac]

The two then sat beside us.
"So, how's your day?" Chase asked.
"Tiring." I groaned, "Too many pets."
Chase growled.
"Why are you growling a lot lately?"
Chase then changed his demeanor.
"Don't know." He said.
I looked over to Caleb.
He was smirking as if a realization hit him.
As if I know what that means.

"By the way, Alec, did you notice Ma'am Trini's weird scent?" Chase asked.
"What?" I asked, looking at him.
"Bro... what are you on!" Noah said, "Are you a pervert or something!" Noah asked.
"What, no!" "That's not what I meant!" Chase snapped.
"Then what do you mean!" Noah yelled.
"I think he meant that Ma'am Trini's scent is... not human," I said
Everyone perked up.
"So you noticed," Chase said.
I nodded.

"She smells similar to you," I said bluntly.
"WAIT WHAT!", "DID YOU SLEEP WITH HER!" Noah yelled.
"WHAT NO!" Chase growled.
"Fix your mind." I snarked.
"Anyways, Ma'am, Trini smells like Chase but also different," I said, returning the topic to Chase.
Chase nodded.
"She smells like a cat...", "Do you think she could be..." Chase said, pondering.
"I'll go investigate later in class," I said.
"Well then, eat up." Chase said, handing me a juice cartoon, "You need the energy."
"Thank you," I said, grabbing the juice.

We parted ways after I ate lunch with my friends... and Noah.
James followed me to Biology.
And while walking, his eyes were fixated on my tail.
He watches my tail wave from side to side, almost hypnotic.
Even when we reached our classroom, he still was watching it.
"Ahem... would you please stop staring at my tail," I said before entering the class.
"Oh... sorry..." James apologized, "It's just fascinating to me."
"What is fascinating about it?" I asked.
"Well... how does it feel exactly?" he questioned, "Like, does it feel like an extra arm?".

We then sat down in our seats.
"Something like that... yeah," I replied to James' question.
"How painful is it if someone were to step on it?" He asked.
"Extremely painful, it is sensitive, I know," I complained.
"How sensitive is your tail?"
"How about you learn yourself," I said, baring my canines.
"..."
"Please don't," James said.
"I'm not gonna," I replied teasingly.
