— Escapee part 2

The skies were bright as the sun shone down on the roadside—at this moment Adileo who was supposed to be in bed was—

outside.

he had snuck out.

Adileo had taken the chance to escape as the Dragon Lord was busy with some other things in the castle.

But Adileo was no longer in an familiar area.

He was inside a forest that smelled like death.

'Where is this?'

Adileo—despite traveling all those years Adilo had no clue of the three forbidden areas as he had no intrest in it.

Only now did he wonder where he was.

[ This is the forest of darkness. ]

The old man—ancient being said with aspiration as if he couldn't belive this person was his descendant but he could only blame himself.

He knew this person had been his descendant when he contracted him.

It was why he did.

"Forest of darkness..." Adileo muttered as he went farther from the castle not wanting to get caught at all cost.

Adileo kept going wondering how he would get to the Empire to join in on teaching fun that Cale had been planning.

That's right.

Adileo had snuck out of thr castle despite still not being 100% healed because he didn't want to miss out on the fun.

If Eruhaben knew he'd faint from anger.

"Old man, do you know the way to the empire?" Adileo who had been to the Empire once before had forgotten it.

Another secret about him was that he was a road and directions idiot.

Most times when they traveled searching for the White Star the diety gave him directions.

[ You've just found out I'm your ancestor and you still treat me this way? ]

"So what?"

[ I think your personality has changed since you've been with Cale Henituse.]

[ It's gotten worse. ]

Adileo didn't bother with his ancestor.

They had gone back to the days when it was just them.

It seemed he had to find his own directions to the Empire but it might take him a while since he was a road idiot.

Adileo had manged to somehow leave the forest of darkness—he ran into some monsters but he aniahlated them.

So he was fine.

First he needed to know where he was so he could find the directions from here to the Empire—that would make things easier.

Adileo made sure that no saw him leave the forest of darkness as he guessed that it would lead him to trouble.

Of course he didn't know he was lucky he hadn't passed through Harris village.

But that was for another time.

Adileo went around the area but no one paid him mind despite his unusual outfit—must be the protagonist aura.

But he manged to get intell.

He was at the Henituse territory.

Cale's father territory.
