The breeze whipped through my hair... the first breath of wind we had had for 2 days. I took a sip of rum before heading below decks to check on Irina. She never really talked to me much about herself, but I never really pressured her anyway. She was sat in her usual position on the bed, looking slightly more relaxed than before. I have to say, it was a good job I stayed. The bed was now clean and the floor was free of dust. The room looked brighter than before, and admittedly Irina looked healthier than she had ever done.

"Hi Irina."

She let a faint smile escape her. My eyebrows creased. "Are you okay?"

She swallowed lightly, almost gulping. "Yep."

I sat down next to her and said kindly, "Don't be stupid. There's obviously something."

She grimaced, and I noticed her hand clench against the bed.

"How many weeks are you?"

"36 weeks almost," She gasped.

"Oh my gosh. Right lie down now!" I commanded, sprinting out of the room.

"SETH! SETH WHERE ARE YOU!"

He came walking towards me from the hold, a bottle of red wine in his hand.

"What's the matter?" He said, tilting his head slightly.

"You may become a dad, just stay away from Irina's cabin." Somehow I never looked on it as my cabin but always Irina's.

"WHOPPEE!" he yelled (I have a feeling he is slightly drunk).

I grabbed a towel from the side and ran back to the cabin, where Irina was whimpering on the bed. Oh wow, what do I do?

I grabbed her hand and propped her legs up. Then the contractions started...
